If normal good people knew about cell phone guns, do you think they would have been so hard on the Palm Beach Officer who Tasered the women in the SUV while she was holding a cell phone?

i did not hear about this incident but cell phone guns have been around for years and if he only tasered her that was good for the officer out here she would have been shot the officers dont have tasers. the officer was totaly in the right, there are too many people that think they can act crazy with the cops and not do what they are told and get away with it. the taser is a great way to gain control of a subject and not kill them more departments should have then and we need to stand behind every officer that uses the tasers some one insted of killing them.

If that means a taser and there's reason to believe it's needed then better that than a funeral. There's been times I've had to reach across the vehicle to get a DL or something and I always wait until the officer is standing there and say what I'm doing - because from the other side of the door you DON'T know who's friend or foe. I know too many in that position but most cases the guy standing at a checkpoint doesn't know that.
IMO you do what you have to in order to go home at the end of the night. If that isn't enough for some - at least you get to go home. That's worth a bunch. ;-)
