Anyone that dislikes liberals is a bigot. To dislike a label, or a group of people without giving an individual a chance is showing their ignorance, and narrow mindedness.

There's a difference between disagreeing with liberals and disliking them. I don't dislike liberals except for the ones who make complete fools of themselves by posting some of their outrageous trash on this site.

Can you believe that, just the other day, one of them posted a question asking if anyone besides himself would be happy if Bill O'Reilly and his whole family were burned to death in a fire? How could you not dislike some sick, twisted idiot like that?

Everyone is entitled to a point of view but that kind of filth has no place in this society.

I don't dislike Liberals, but I think ''dislike'' is the wrong word. ''Disagree'' would have fit better, but your the one asking the question. We( the public and the politicians) use to have discussions about our different views and ideas. Be it some heated discussions, but at the end of the day. You could still be civil towards one another. We may not agree with each other, but we were not going to kill each other over it. That's ''The freedom of speech'' part of our Constitution that sets our country apart from others. Now I've noticed that it is all hate. ''I hate Libs, Dems, Reps,Cons,Ind and our Presedent. I can see not agreeing with someones veiw point, vote, policies and decisions. But the shear hatred thats out there for people you don't even know and /or will ever meet. It's disturbing and can only lead to harming our way of life. Wake-up people the ability to coexist with different veiws, ideologies, beliefs and nationalities. Is one of the main reasons we are a great nation. We are loosing our ability to discuss our problems and work them out. Our government officials act like school kids after a playground fight. ''It's not my fault, it's theirs'' and we "the public" are starting to act just like them. It is up to "We the people" to sit our elected officials down and to remind them whose government this is. Because, for better or worse it is ours. We better start acting like it or we will be the ones that will loose in the end.

Its not that i dislike them I dislike when some refuse to look at the larger scheme of things. I consider myself a Conservative. I'm not so far right where my view of things are blinded by party dogma . I always try to keep an open mind of things and judge for myself, after I've read all the facts not hear say, or just the mainstream media. Which can and has been bias.

to be liberal is not a bad thing as log as it isn't taken out of context. I do not dis like liberals as people. My mom is a liberal.and I love her very much!
She and I differ at times but when she asked me why I was a conservative when she has always been a liberal this is what I told her, as a child growing up you never told me what a dem or rep was. you taught me what was right and what was wrong and how to make decision when put into positions where had to chose right from wrong and with the morals that you taught me as a child when it came time to vote I went Conservative
It was what you taught me to believe in(GOD & Country)
Mom cryed as she was proud to know that we lissend to what she was teaching and is happy that I hold strong to the morals that she instiled in me
To the suprise of my liberal perants they rased 4 conservitive children, whom all now have grown children of their own and all this because we were taught morals
{I did not know that my mom was a Dem untill I was about 24}
If you want to rase your children to liberal you should teach them to set on their laurels, not stand on their morals

I don't dislike all liberals.

Just those who have such a blind hate for Bush and not willing to open their minds and act like bigots.... well if they do close their minds guess there aren't liberals anymore.

I am talking about the types who think that people who like Bush are sheep.
Those who get bent out shape when Ann Coulter says anything against a democrat but have no problem when a liberal throws insults conservative.
ie refer Rice as a "house slave"

The shrill voices who won't have a reasonable debate are the ones I tune out.

I don't dislike them personally because I need to know someone before I decide if I like them or not. As a conservative I do however disagree with their politics.

It is not an issue of dislike perse, it is more like an intense hatred of socialism, its inherent dishonesty and those who hide behind the label of liberal or Democrat because they know that to reveal themselves as socialists would find themselves cast out of society.

Now if they would quit using the moniker of liberal and stand up for what they believe and state clearly they are seeking the socialist takeover of America, I might still hate what they stand for but would at least respect them for being honest about it.
