She was at the lake and was with others and a police officer gave them all a citation for this. How much is this ticket and will this affect her drivers license?

If it is the first time, she will most likely have to go to a class for like 3 days, usually about $100.00, and then if she keeps her nose clean, in 6 months it will be wiped from her record. I won't affect her if she was not driving.

What do you consider low point beer? 3.2? You will need to contact your local court. There should be an address and phone number on the back of the citation. If it is simply and MIP and she wasn't in a vehicle, it won't go on her DL. You can also contact the court and ask them about a diversion. It may get pricey but it may be something your daughter will learn from if she has to pay it. Make your daughter be held accountable for her actions.
