I got a speeding ticket in Utah a while back for going 9 over and I have never paid it or really thought about it until just now.

Will I have a warrant out that will get me arrested in Colorado if I get pulled over?

You probably do have a failure to pay warrant out of Utah. Since that is a midemeanor it will not be extraditable from other states. And as someone else said, your drivers license could also be suspended in CO if it works like Utah. So you could be arrested for driving on a suspended license in CO.

If your name has been put into the NCIC database, you could have a warrant of arrest that could get you extradited to Utah for Failure to Pay Fine. That's up to the court in Utah. Sometimes a court will only arrest you in the home state, but sometimes a fugitive warrant for bordering states or all states is issued. The safest thing to do is call the Utah court and ask if there is a way you can resolve the issue without going to jail.

I think the first answer is over stating his case. I seriously doubt any state will go though the trouble to extradite someone over a speeding ticket. On the other hand Utah may suspend your license and Colorado may recognize the suspension. If that is the case, you could face charges in Colorado for driving on a suspended license.

you have a warrant out on your arrest for failure to look. this is going to ensue on the police checklist as FTA. in case you weren't going to pay them you haad approximately 30 days to ensue in courtroom to shield your self, you probably did no longer ensue in courtroom so the courtroom clerk issued a warrant on your arrest. it might desire to count quantity while you're caught in the Carolinas besides the fact that if it rather is particularly a possibility that in case you get stopped in yet another state that the warrant will ensue and you would be arrested in yet another state and then extradited lower back to the Carolinas to stand trial. You greater effective call the country clerk's offc the place you acquire those tickets and pay the fines. It rather should not be that costly, it's going to be greater suitable than primary yet should not be that somewhat greater. it might desire to even worsen. even if it rather is particularly some tickets, it might desire to boost from a misdemeanor to a low type legal, like a type C or D legal and that is an automatic 6-12 months in detention center or detention center plus a great. you rather do no longer desire to get raped in detention center on the grounds which you probably did no longer pay some rushing tickets.

You may have a warrant.

Your license is probably also suspended in your home State too. Most States have nonresident violator compacts and the States work together to make sure things like that are taken care of.

Your best option is to contact the Utah court and make arrangements to pay your ticket and any penalty.
