You simply notify the court (usually the clerk) that you are withdrawing your petition for the RO.

The court date will be removed from the calender.

When you say mistake, do you mean you potentially were dishonest in filing it? or just changed your mind?
If you changed your mind I would just be honest and tell the judge you made an error and would like it rescinded. Explain that you are not in fear any more and have worked this issue out and thank the court.
If you were dishonest you could get in serious trouble if the courts find out as you can not use false information to obtain a RO.
I would get with the attorney or clerk of the court to see if you can just have it rescinded prior to facing the judge or talk to your own counsel for advice. GOOD LUCK

if u made a mistake , take it as a lesson learned ! dont make that mistake agian, it takes away from people who REALLY need protection ! just dont go to the court date and the case will be dropped.the temp order only last untill the court date.
