Ignore the first moron. He's just trying to bait someone tonight.

On another note, the cop will likely record your plate (that's why you're required to have one in the back of your car). You're not likely to get away for too long.

You also don't want to run the risk of fleeing and being caught because then you incur more charges. If you have doubts about the cop chasing you or are in one of those areas where black men often end up dead from being pulled over, slow down to the speed limit or below it and call 911 to let them know that you are being followed by a police officer and that you will pull over as soon as you get to a well-lit public area.

The operator will record your call so in case you get arrested, you can't be accused of attempting to evade arrest. You will also automatically be logging the cop who is pulling you over into the system (the operator will check to make sure it's a legit cop and you can ask for their badge number then and their in case things get ugly later on).

Once you pull over, keep your hands on the steering wheel until the officer instructs you to do otherwise. If you have something illegal on you then it's just not your lucky day and it's a risk you knowingly took long before the cop even saw you.

Oh... try to slip your seatbelt on while you're trying to find your way to that well-lit area if you're not already wearing it : )

Hope this helps.

If a cop tries to pull you over, it is likely that the cop has a good reason for attempting to do so. You additional information asks how he would catch you without a lisence plate ... not having a lisence plate is against the law, giving the cop a great reason to pull you over.
If you ignore him and accellerate, you are indicating to the cop that you are not interested in being questioned and/or arrested, which is also against the law.
Cop cars are factory tuned, and must stay that way by law, but they are still quite powerful and so losing him requires a degree of speed and skill that is also against the law when used on public roads, leading to at least 2 more charges called dangerous driving and reckless endangerment.
If you manage to lose the cop in the chase, the police traffic squad have many pathways and technologies they can follow up on to catch you. The best way to learn about these techniques is to watch TV shows like CSI and Law and Order. The chain of evidence is a powerful tool to proving who did what where and when.
By removing your lisence plate, you are reducing the large number of means that post crime analysis can use to catch you by only 1. They can also consider tyre tread, paint colour, the cop's ID of your car's make, model, year, etc, transfers, your blood, hair or saliva that may have landed on the road, any injuries that may require hospital attention, ... the list is very long, specific, and infallible in a court of law.
If your ever in a situation where you must escape and evade, be driving a vehicle that can put significant visual barriers between you and the cop. If he can't see you he can't chase you or establish evidence like your plate. Lots of corners are good. Smoke is good. Traffic is good, if you can get through it while simultaneously preventing him from geting through it. Traffic is bad if it's impenetrable, like grid lock. Highways are bad. Helicopters are almost impossible to evade, even if you drive near an airport. And being chased by vehicles more powerful than yours, by drivers more skilled than you, is the worst possible situation.
95% of the time the cost benefit analysis of your options from the moment your trying to decide whether to "ignore him and accellerate" will indicate that your better off trying to run. The fact is that at that time you can't see the whole picture. You have no idea how hard the police will try to catch you. Cold hard truth is that 99% of the time your better off being pulled over and accepting whatever the authorities tell you without resisting.

Welcome to the deceptive nature of temptation. The drugs, firearms, alcohol, car, and the loot are not worth the risk of making 5 years jailtime into 5 consecutive life sentences. Running from the cops is not worth it.

Possibly the only time it might be worth it is if you've already done something so bad that if they caught you they'd take you directly to the electric chair or lethal injection table or extradite you to someone who would. But I'm willing to bet (with money) that a person like that would not be on a forum like this asking what to do. They'd be trying to find a way to get to the Cayman Islands, or some other non-extradition country ASAP.
Just incase your wondering, the best way to do that is to get to a coastal forest, build your own boat out of the material found in the bush, get some food, water, and a sail, and make your own way there, solo. It's gotta be small, and non-metallic, so it doesn't show up on radar. You may also want to make a paddle. Don't try and take the cash with you. Hide it somewhere, and go back when the heat dies down. Or leave it with someone who can bank it, and wire it to your account in the caymans. They will have to meet you there, or face charges of perverting the course of justice, among others.
Good luck.

Gotta say this is the dumbest question you have asked. You got a fever tonight? You would be caught without a doubt. Where there is one cop there is a walkie talkie system.

No license plate can result in a very hefty fine. Car would be confiscated until you get it, and you pay for storage which is painfully high. Up here you need to get auto insurance as well. that can be as good or bad as your driving record.

You would have made them extra interested in you and you find yourself in more trouble than you imagined. They find out about that unpaid speeding ticket last year. OOOPs. They realize you booted because you were inebriated. The test shows you blow double the limit. Now it is starting to look truly grim.

They find that little baggie of pot in your wallet. Do I need to go on? Just not a wise idea.

If you accelerate he has the right to run you off the road and some of them know how to flip your car. If you manage to lose the cop and they get your plate number, they will find you and arrest you for evasion or running.

well for one thing they got your plate number and know where you live and 2 you are looking at ,fleeing police, evasion to avoid arrest, either way you could lose your license and or be fined heavily and possibly do some jail time. my advice is to stop when the cops hit you with the lights or pay the price,in other words if you can't do the time don't do the crime!!!!! plain and simple!

Well, if your car doesn't have a license plate, it should be pretty easy to spot eventually. Besides, most cruisers now have dashboard cameras so it wouldn't be very hard to identify the driver once that person is caught.

Odds are, he already has your plate number, so expect company when or if you go home. If he didn't get your plate number and you lost him, you're home free. Keep in mind they will continue to look for you. Not too smart to try to outrun a cop, they have lots of friends with guns and radios.

Well this will turn into one of those great police chases that we see in the news or even better in one of those TV shows like: what were you thinking or the most stupid crooks ever.
One thing I'm sure they have a description of your care and maybe even recorded something on the dash-cam so you'll get caught sooner or later.

You could have a warrant for your arrest based on the vehicle's make and model or license plate number. If they never got that info, then consider it an answered prayer.
