I don't get it.I've been charged with just about evetything involving drugs, because I'm a pothead and proud of it.I've been charged with possession, paraphenilia, possession to sell, trafficking, buying, stoned in public, but now they are trying to pin me with advertising illegal drugs, simply because I have a hoodie with an airbrushed marijuana leaf on it.Can I charge these pigs with harrassment?Let me also add that none of my charges have stuck, even the judge thinks they should give me a break.

can a UK traffic officer send a summons through the post without issuing a speeding offence on the spot, my friend got caught speeding the other day and is pretty ate up about what might happen, on the spot the officer filled out a form that had nothing to do with him commiting an offence, something about a "check" (routine check perhaps) i was in the car at the time and the officer told him to bring his license to the nearest police station, at the police station the next day he asked a male PC what would happen now and all he said was " nothing thats it now, you've produced". my friend wants to know whether he would be issued with a speeding conviction to his house or whether this is considered a warning, shouldn't it be mandatory for the issuing officer to give him a ticket on the spot or has the officer waved this over, once the details were given at the UK police station does it mean hes going to get this through the post

many thanks to anyone who can respond to this

We have a new sheriff and I am happy to see he has really gone after the meth activity more than any other sheriff we've had.He just busted a 8 million dollar a year operation. However, I wonder if these people go to prison and look at it like they really want to change.Or do you think these busts will put a decline in this activity for a few years and then it will pick back up after these individuals get out of prison?

I live in Toronto,Canada. I had to charge someone yesterday for making threats towards me. And now someone has to bail her out of jail. I was just wondering out of curiosity how much it would cost to bail someone out of jail for that. Does anyone have any idea??
Thanks

My mom took in an 11 year old boy..Got custody of him, out of the goodness of her heart..He was abused by his dad and left by his mom..He has be to therapist so many times..My mom had a wreck in July and he knows she cant fight back.He has gotten in her face, hit her several times and pushed her in the wall the same day she had surgery on her spine. He has now stolen all her knives out of her Kitchen and has even threatened my mom and sister. He is scared of my step-dad.The court system and law will not help her in any way, they tell her she has got to wait til she goes back to court in October. But I am scared that one day I will get a phone call saying she is in the hospital or worse..I live in Arkansas and she lives in Louisiana about an 1 1/2 hours from me..Please help me help her on what she can do..He is acting out at school and threatening classmates, but the law and court sytem have failed her in everyway..She is desparate for help and wants to get him help. She is a Christain.

I am thinking about applying for some PD's. What type questions did they ask you in your polygraph? Suffice it to say, I have not always been the fine upstanding citizen I am today, but since marrage and kids 5 years ago, I do no wrong. I want to know if I should even bother to apply. I had and maintaied a Top Secret clearance in the Army with no problem.

We have had a smoking ban in Scotland and Ireland for some time now and I believe our nearest neighbours will soon implement one too. Good.

But I found out an interesting thing recently. I visit my local pub every couple of weeks and recently noticed that the "regulars" didn't seem to arrive until much later- shortly before closing time, in fact.

On making enquiries I was intrigued to find that they are arriving late so they can participate in the "lock-in". This is after closing time, when the bar is supposedly shut to the public. Ostensibly the owner can then decide who gets to participate in the "lock in" and- here's the interesting bit- they all stand at the bar and smoke away merrily on their cigarettes. The owner is a smoker himself and heartily approves of this behaviour.

What's the legality of this situation, and is any law being broken by it?

After he ok'd the War Protesters the right to spray paint and disface the US Capital building. It is not his building it is our building. Anywhere else and they would have been arrested.

If I wanted to find someone (free or as cheaply as possible) in another state how would I go about doing that? I have full name and birthdate and maybe a phone number (I'm not 100% sure if it is theirs or not) - I need to get as much information about this person as possible.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!!

I live in AL where it is legal to go around and hunt through other people's garbage. Every Monday morning the same couple comes through and searches through all of the garbage cans on my street. I've asked them to stop and they continue. How can I get these people to STAY OUT? -If I wanted people hunting through my trash I'd have a yard sale.

Twice in the past 2 weeks I have walked by my neighbor's house and he is sitting in front of his window with the blinds all the way open, completely naked, playing with himself. He is an adult male, not a kid.

My first reaction is just to look away, but then he faces a busy street, and maybe he just likes the thrill, but I'm worried about children walking by, or a school bus, or something.

Should I just ignore it? Or do I have some sort of responsibility to report it, or say something?

I would rather just ignore it but I worry that maybe he's a serious weirdo.

last night i was driving down an empty road, it was at about 3 in the morning, there was no one around and i was going over the speed limit, an officer pulled me over and breathalised me, i didn't have my license on me so he told me i had to produce it at the police station. I went to the police station and produced the information for the woman in there and on the slip that the officer gave me it didnt have anything about me commiting an offence he just ticked the box ' stop check' does this mean i'm going to be recieving a speeding ticket through the post or not, the officer just told me to slow down when i was leaving to go home,
