I don't think so. It is a matter of respect for a person's life. I was sick when I saw the Saddam hanging footage on the news (not the full but I heard about it). We, the public, do not need to see that. A person's final moments alive should be a private event.

Personally, I'd say no. For me death is as private as a birth. Some people might disagree with me. I would say, it should be up to the inmate if they choose to have it made available to the public. All I want to know is that the person deserved it and the execution was a success.

Absolutely!! It might deter some people from committing those crimes if they saw what it was like to be executed! Bring back the firing Squads or the hangman in the public square!

The real question is should we have executions at all. The death penalty risks executing an innocent person, is not a deterrant and costs more than life sentences. It is also harder on the families of murder victims.

absolutely not. What purpose would it serve ? Only sick people want to watch that kind of footage !
