I truely believe there is MUCH more to this story than you're stating!
True ... police attempt to conduct "sting" operations, which are NOT "entrapment", by making arrests on the opposite end of the drug problem....the "user".
Take away the "demand"....you remove the "supply".
You've neglected to state the circumstances involving the elderly person whether or not he was armed or what!
Here's another "tidbit" for you....
Entrapment is a legal defense by which a defendant may argue that he or she should not be held criminally liable for actions which broke the law, because they were induced (or entrapped) by the police to commit said acts.
For the defense to be successful, the defendant must demonstrate that the police induced an otherwise unwilling person to commit a crime.
When a person is predisposed to commit a crime, offering opportunities to commit the crime is not entrapment, a widely held misconception!!
Please get your facts and terms right before spreading rumors and inuendo's!!

There were obviously more details to this story..Cops don't shoot someone without justification, period. No I am not naive about cops,I know there are rogue ones in the mix everywhere, but knowing this would be news they would of already justified the shooting in some way in order to clear themselves, not leaving the courts or Dept. they serve in line for a law suit..There are alot of "what if's" to this situation, therefore without details how can anyone judge the situation at all.?

TO BUILDYMOON: Well the old fellow probably didnt know that they were cops and didnt want the drug dealing trash in his neighborhood, so the disgusting sneaky pigs should have told him what they were doing instead of shooting him because they were too worried about thier cover being blown. AND TO NIGORDICK: YES SOMETHING is definetly wrong with this picture, like i said sneaky pigs!!!

Nothing I dont think that really happened. If they were selling durgs as part of a sting operation then too bad about the old man. Maybe he should have just let them do there job. Who is he to confront them.

you have 2 options. a million) you ought to confront him and adress the difficulty until eventually now everyone does something they experience sorry approximately. tell him that youve been handling alot of crap at the instant and which you fairly want him to renounce with something that ought to effect you and to no longer have that many people over at a time. do no longer THREATEN HIM WITH SNITCHING 2) You call the law enforcement officers and enable them to handle it 3) take care of it i in my view might circulate with the 2d one. in case you confront him and it doesnt get greater advantageous and you call the law enforcement officers, probable each and every drug broker and consumer could be out to get you and your loved ones. i might call the law enforcement officers yet no longer at a time the place it makes it look like your the single doing it. call the law enforcement officers while they're blockading somebody elses driveway. If everyone suspects you, you may jsut say, why might i rat him out, ive been handling his **** for 2 years already. the staggering question is, what ought to i do for my babies.
