Nothing if they don't find out....however, if you flee and miss your probation appointment they will put out a warrant for your arrest and then they will more than likely revoke your probation which means you finish your sentence in jail. If they DON't revoke it (you could get lucky) you may get more community service, more fines, and drug tests. Not good. Don't do it. Suck it up and do your duty.

If it is against the terms of your probation to move out of state, you can be charged with a violation of probation (VOP.) You are not entitled to a trial on VOP, just a court hearing before a judge (usually the judge who initially sentenced you to probation) and you face up to the maximum sentence the original charge carried.

So, if your original misdemeanor carried up to 365 days in jail, and you served 2 days and received probation, you could theoretically be sentenced to up to 363 days in jail.

If you are on summary ("court") probation without a probation officer and without regular reporting requirement, first check your paperwork. If it says you cannot leave the state, find out the procedure to add yourself onto the court's calendar for a modification of your sentence. Then, ask the judge to allow you to make the move.

I can't believe you would choose to run on a misdemeanor. Why don't you call probation officer and tell them you are going out of state. I would have to think someone like you is a few pennies short upstairs.

Call the probation office and ask them. It varies from state to state.

Well if you "flee" you will probably serve the rest of your sentence in jail. I would suggest adhering to your probation.

A warrant would be issued for your arrest. And you would be in violation of your probation, which means they would extend your probation.

Nothing until you go to get your driver's license or do something that causes them to search the system. Now there are states that are not networked into one another. Maybe do some research and find out which states are not networked to Michigan.

Why don't you just get you a lawyer and get it dismissed.
