I live in Nottinghamshire. Near my house we have the Mounted section. I know all the horses their due to family and friends. However after a lot of money has been spent on new horses and vans and lorries there are plans to axe the section. People are less likely to commit a crime in front of a 16 hand + horse with feet the size of badminton raquets than they are with a plain old bobby. I believe the horses should be saved and the goverment should stop making cuts where money matters.

Looks like I'm going back to jail after screwing up on parole. I think I heard something about some people getting boot camp instead of jail. I'm 21 and wondering is this an option in New York - anything would be better than being back in a cell again. Would prefer to be out in the air and at least getting fit.

Anybody know what they're like and if you can suggest it to the judge if the worse happens or do they have to suggest it?

My PO seems to have it in for me and has put down that I missed a meeting with him although I turned up 15 minutes late and is saying other things that aren't really true.

Back in court next week for a DUI an he is saying I should have to go back to jail. With the parole violations and the new offence I could even end up in prison instead of jail. Jail was bad enough but prison seems much worse. I think he just wants me back in jail.

::::State of New Jersey::::
I was issued an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court (to pay a ticket for not having my license on me). Long before that though, I had planned a trip to Cancun, Mexico with my parents. But at the moment I am jobless and I will not be able to financially take care of that issue till about another month from that. What I want to know though, is if I'll be arrested or will my warrant show up coming or leaving Cancun? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Okay, about 6 months ago, I leased a computer from a lease-to-own place for my boyfriend at the time. Stupid, I know, but you live and learn. Anyway, he agreed to pay the weekly payments on it. He couldn't lease it himself because they needed a paycheck stub and he is self-employed (musician). Anyhoo, he paid one payment and stopped, leaving me to pay for it. We broke up shortly afterward and I have been in a struggle for months because he is REFUSING to give it back to me because he says it belongs to him (he obviously has some mental issues). He has stopped taking my phone calls, and is basically dodging me. I am afraid to go to his house to get it for safety reasons. Several friends have offered to go with me, but I don't want to put anyone in harm's way. The rental company refuses to go and pick it up because it is in the next county over, so as long as he has it I am stuck paying for it. Can I take him to court? What is the best way to resolve this in a somewhat peaceful manner?

i mean c'mon let these people smoke weed if they want, cops should not be able to pull you over for drugs. Focus on th war on terrorism, and stop this stupid war on drugs. nobody cares who does drugs anyways so why bother punishing them?
