I want to stress that you will not necessarily be charged with the crime for not reporting them. It is not your job to fight crime, that is the job of the police, and you cannot be convicted of theft just because you are aware of a theft.

Again, I would avoid spending time with that "friend" and if the police contact you immediately ask for both your parents and an attorney and do not answer any questions from the police no matter what they tell you, especially if they say that you will be charged with theft if you don't tell them everything before your parents and attorney get there. Demand that your parents and attorney are present before you answer ANY questions at all.

First thing you need to do is tell your parents. "All about the incident."
Tell when it happened, where, wshat was taken, who took what. Tell it all!
Your parents should call the police and report the incident. If they have an atrtorney, he should be in on this too. The police can NOT interview you without your parents present. If they try, they are in violation of the law regarding juviniles.
Be Honest with everything and every detail.
If you was against the act of taking, you have nothin to worry about.

your friends can be charged under Juvenile court for grand larceny, maybe some detention time and pay a big fine. You could be charged as an accessory for not turning them in even though you weren't involved. good luck.
