Problems with guns are problems with people blamed on guns. Everyone should recieve military training and be required by their local governments to own a fully automatic assault weapon. They do it in Switzerland and Switzerland is not overun with crime.

In England Guns are BANNED. Unless they are single shot or you are related to the Queen. Most Brits have never seen a gun except on a USA cop show.
But British cops still run round shooting unarmed people in the head on the grounds that they thought they Might have a gun a banana that looked like a gun or a TV remote control to set off the BOMB.
And you cannot say "BOMB" either in case people think they are about to die, and cops will hold you down and shoot you in the head.
The British Government has deduced that this is not actually classed as murder. it is simply a health and safety issue.
Deaths in the UK are still high, with 20% of the prison population life sentence murderes who have bludgened stabbed or strangled there victims to death.
Guns just make the act of murder that bit easier, like opening a can with an electric can opener as apposed to a hammer.

Gun crime in England is still very high despite the bans. The answer the authorities have come up with is to ban pocket knives and swords. It has also been suggested that they outlaw any kitchen knive with a point on it as that is often used to commit murder.

On the other hand, if you defend yourself agains the criminal element, you will most likely go to jail.

I hear that they might consider a ban on cricket bats, but that could be just rumor.

I'm glad I live in a place where I can legally have the means and the ability to defend myself and my loved ones. Banning an object has never stopped criminals and never will.

Congress & Gun Control advocates would like the citizenry to
forget that the purpose of the second amendment was not so
citizens could defend themselves and go hunting, the second
amendment was so that the citizens could defend themselves
from our own government and take it down by force if necessary.
These laws banning assault rifles because they have not legitimate
hunting purpose are in direct conflict with the 2nd amendment which does not intend these weapons to be hunting guns..

I agree...but posting stuff like this gives our enemies more stuff to throw out as evidience that we should not have guns at our disposal....we can be portrayed as wild eyed radicals who use our guns in unlawful and suggestive ways.........its just too harmful to the image...think about it
