Here's the best response I could give you!

If a person breaks a law that is of a "felony" nature...all the paperwork conducted outside your presence could be forwarded to the next Grand Jury of your jurisdiction.

If the Grand Jury "true bills" your case....or indicts you...you will THEN have an outstanding warrant for your arrest!

AGAIN....a lot depends on your state law as far as a "threshold" with the amount of money involved. In my state it used to be anything over $250.00 was a felony. Those laws have changed to where it must be over $500.00. Additionally, the case COULD still be under investigation awaiting documentation from the financial institution! On a lighter side....if the victim knows you...they could have indicated a reluctance to prosecute! There are so many issues involved.

Since you DID essentially take something that belonged to another.....Judges LOVE to see that you did the responsible thing by paying the victim back!

The only other advise is IF this case doesn't "go away"...talk to an attorney who can make things go easier in MOST cases should it go to court!

Again....Best wishes!

If you think the police stopped looking for you, think again, you just added another charge to be arrested for.

It means you haven stolen something, it is not legal and you will more than likely be prosecuted in the coming future. Don't run..Remember, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. What did you want so badly that you would steal like that?
