My ex wife was in my drive way honking the horn fo 20 minutes and I told her to leave. She would not in my rage i might of said I fell like killing her!! .Needless to say she called the police and I was arrested for domestic volince. can they do this if she is on my property and i told her to leave atleast 10 times.if you can help that would be great.... p.s.i have never hit a women and would never harm any one ..thanks

Why should muslims in India go scott free, they form at least 25 crores population,which is almost 1/4th of the populace. I feel they will go out of control if not reigned in by their own muslim law, which severly punishes the crime on eye to eye law. This will keep crimes under check. If any Hindu commits a crime against a muslim he too should be punished according to their law. This will solve majority of the problem.

My sister was caught stealing from old navy, the police were called in but in the end they decided not to press any charges against her. They took her info and a polaroid of her face & the merchandise she tried to steal & was told never to enter that store again or she WOULD be arrested.
She signed a paper stating that the store had the right to charge her up tp 5x's the amount of what she stole.
What is the time span that a store has to charge her for this?
1/2/3/4/ years etc?
or does she have to check they mail for the rest of her life waiting for a letter?
any helpful advice is appreciated =o)

p.s - she learned her lesson....stealing is bad..obviously <3

For example, if a parent intends to discipline their child with a switch and wants to minimize the unpleasant noise, possibly out of consideration for the neighbors or others present.

Some people assume this is illegal (as it should be in my opinion); however, I don't believe that it actually qualifies as child abuse under most current definitions, which require not merely cruelty or unreasonableness but serious physical injury.

I got overpaid on a contract check. I quit two weeks ago. They either added an extra digit or thought I hadn't been paid for my whole time there, which I was. Either way, I got $2000 more than expected. I can be UPSTANDING and send it back. Or, I can deposit, let it sit for a while and wait to see what happens for a bit. lmao

Can you sue your husband if he fractured your arm and had a police report? Do you need a restraining order? what is the statue of limitations?

I've just started to work on a comic book that I plan for to be published in the future, but I got a problem:

Some of the character's personality and looks are based off my friends and I'm using their first names. (ex. Julie, Stephanie, Jane, Michelle, etc.)

Is it ok to publish without their consent, or do I really need a written and signed permission? Can I just change the names of the characters and use without any legal problems or issues? It's just a comic book about random everyday life :0 Nothing bad written about them.

This is my understanding, but I am also interested in those more knowledgeable on the subject.
My understanding is this...Some in the Dom/sub community choose to agree to take on roles of servitude and master. As well as enter into a written contract to make sure everything is understood up front.
I always wondered if one ever breeched a section of a contract, could they be sued?

Ok so I've been working at this place for a while now. The only reason that I started working there is because I had family that worked there. I found out that I got paid every night and I was super happy. But then I found out why. There are so many illegal things going on with this place. It's a restruant. There is only one person in the entire business that actually gets a check with taxes taken out. The rest of us get paid under the table, the waitresses don't share tips, which I wouldn't mind but they don't do any of the work. Here are some more things this place is doing that is wrong:
-They save lemons and onions off of tables and reuse them
- They don't have set hours with set pay
- They constantly over work workers without extra pay
- They reuse food left over from the previous weeks

And that is just some of the things. If the IRS found out they weren't taxing pay, I know they could get in trouble. I'm tired of them getting away with this. How do I report them??

I have a job, that I am on the border between be tired of it, and still liking it because of the people I work with. I applied for a position within the same company, but havent heard anything back yet, and it could bring my job to another level. I also was given a job opportunity with another company that would pay 1.45 more, not have the same benefits, so that is an option. I also got a phone call from another potential future employer wanting to interview with me. I am in a position where I have some major decisions to make, please help me.......someone or anyone.

I have two quick questions.

1. I was taken to Small Claims Court by my sister over a cell phone....the judge split the bill between us because of the evidence brought to him. I owed her 209.00. I'd paid 150.00, and my sister had a change of heart and decided she didn't want any more money. She told me 6 months ago she'd file the paperwork to show it as satisified...I have not recieved anything from the court or my sister regarding this and it still shows on my credit report. ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX THIS?? WILL I GET A STATEMENT OF JUDGEMENT BEING PAID??

2. If both the def. and plaint. fail to appear to the hearing...WHAT HAPPENS? WILL BOTH PARTIES BE NOTIFIED OF THE OUTCOME?

I need someone who really knows this stuff well. My boyfriend is 18 and im 16. I hear that as long as your less then 5 years apart, it's not Statutory Rape. Then i hear, 16 is the legal age where you arent considered a victim of Statutory Rape anymore. But, my brother and his wife said that if my boyfriend touches me sexually, theyll "take him down".
