Ok. i live in a apt. its not a big building. only two floors and 4 apts on each side. Last month the police was by the carport. come to find out a teenage boy was doing drugs and burning things right next to the cars parked there. well now he is back and his mom is not around much (she works tons). so anyways i notice that he has tons of people who are coming and going from his apt. usually i do not take notice as to things like this, but something does not seem right. I am not the type of person to call the police about every little thing, but i wonder if i should this time. i really do not like a bunch of strangers coming and going like that. I am not the only one worried about this. Should i call the police? thanks!

What do i do to get it fixed or should i even bother?
This did happen 3 weeks ago, and the key mark goes from rear to front and is deep. Nothing like this has ever happend to me.

Today is a joyous day for those who longed for the end of the tyrant, John Howards dictator-like rule of Australia.

11 long years we have suffered at his hands. Introducing the GST with no warning on top of other taxes instead of abolishing them as 'promised'. Taking away our hard fought for rights at work, forcing honest, hard-working Australians onto AWA's and into feeling like second class citizens, while the his big business fat-cat friends lined their pockets and coffers with money that was rightfully ours. Lying bare-faced about promises he never intended to keep during campaigns, saying they were not "core" promises, and therefore did not have to be kept. Sending our sons, daughters, brothers and sisters away to a foreign country, to fight in an illegal war.
Constantly boasting of a budget surplus but doing NOTHING with it to help our country in need in this dire time of continual drought and climate change.

Good bye Mr Howard.
You will not be missed.

AND HAPPY RUDD DAY!

The topic of the Second Amendment is the right of the People to keep and bear arms. But the media likes to try to distract people with the first part which refers to a militia. In the latter 18th. century a militia was all able-bodied men between 18 and 50, who were expected to be well ordered (supplied with ordinance) and able to fight.

Now if we apply a less exotic interpretation to the First Amendment which among other things guarantees freedom of the press, we find that television and radio as well as the internet would be excluded because they don't use printing presses.

I find what I see dramatized on the evening "news" to be a lot more of a threat to freedom than my neighbor's handguns.

How do you think the First Amendment should be applied? Should that part of the entertainment industry called broadcast news be omitted?

I know it was stupid but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I'm 16, two of my friends are also 16, and one of us is 15.
Well me and these friends were going to ding dong ditch a house, one chosen at completely random.
Once again, It was a stupid thing but I didn't really think it was that big of a deal.
One of us went to the door, two(one of which was me) just stayed on the sidewalk, and another was across the street.
They turned out to not have a doorbell so my friend just knocked twice, loudly and in rapid succession.
Him and the two of us on the sidewalk went to hide.
We waited for a while and nothing in the house changed, so we just got up and left.
Well halfway down the street the lady opens her door and starts screaming at us. So we then run away.
Couple minutes later I see police lights flashing and I figure they are here for us, so I burst out into a full run and take an indirect path to my house. One of my friends follows...

About 7 years ago I was young and made the mistake of getting into the wrong crowd. We were caught with alcohol and marijuana. Since then I have become a respectable citizen, husband and parent. I finished college with honors. I own a house and have been with my good paying job over 6 years. It just bothers me that the mistakes I made as a teenager are still with me today. I accepted my punishment and moved on. Is there anyway for me to get this taken off my record? Has anyone done this before and can you list the sites and steps I need to accomplish this. I'm only asking for help not critisism. Thanks!

I have seen that in some states, contractors, by law, cannot ask for more than 33% down payment. just wondering if any such law exists in Ohio.

Can anyone tell me what is the penalty for driving without insurance in Illinois and getting into an accident. I was driving my friend's car and got into an accident, it was my fault because i was changing lanes. I have already paid the other guy for his damages and have gotten a release from him. This is a first time offense, what will happen to me.

my roommate was driving my car and got a dwi. since the car was registered in my name i also received one, even though i never left the back seat. how can i be charged with driving while intoxicated? i knew i was too drunk to drive so i gave up my keys. i was too drunk to tell that my roommate was also too intoxicated to drive. i thought i was doing the responsible thing by not driving, yet i still got a dwi. how can i even be charged with this? will these charges hold up in court at all?

3 family members inherited property in FL. One of the 3 family members are being impossible. They are not allowing the other 2 family members on the property and have changed the locks in the house twice. We have even paid an attorney to write him a letter. He knows how to play the system. We want to sell the property on the market. He does not. He lives on the property for free. He has even gone as far as to threaten us. We just do not want to file a partition action and have it back fire. Serious answers please!

I am a student going to university and am renting a house in Oshawa, ON. Yesterday, something that I could not believe happened. Basically, my retarded landlord kicked out two of my roommates for absolutely no reason even though they have a signed lease and have paid for the remainder of the month. The police came and forced them to pack their stuff at 11pm leaving them with no place to live.

I was shocked beyond belief. They have done NOTHING wrong except seek their rights (various little arguments about common area items that are listed on the lease but the landlord failed to take care of). Now on the lease, it says neither party shall terminate the lease with no reason without giving 60 days notice, but apperantly the police officers said we are not protected under the tenancy act because there are shared common living areas. That makes no sense at all, especially with no notice and a legally binding document.

What can be done and how to best approach it? Thank you VERY much!

I believe they are required to pay you for four, but I can't find anything, if anyone knows and knows where I can print it out from. I have always been told you get paid for four, my employer doesn't think so, but other employers have paid me for 4 hours before if I even only worked one. I really nee to find something so I can give it to them.
