I got a ticket in a national forest that I would like to contest. Shouldnt it take place in the nearest us district court to where I live not where the offense took place?

Are these scenario's criminal or civil case's?

1. A friend carries a knife just in case he is attacked?
2.A freind downloads a lot of music for free eg. limewire illegally ?
3.People keep using a friends garden as a shortcut to get to school?
4.A friend buys a DVD player, but it stops working after 2 weeks.
5. The local bus stop has been smashed and is covered in graffiti.
6.A friend in a school class is carrying drugs?
7. Someone is harrassing your next door neighbour, but you are sure they havee been given an ASBO for doing this before?

Ancetral property was partitioned beteween brothers A&B during the year 1960. In the partitioned deed , the minor son of A namely 'C' was included as one of the parties. A's daughter D was in the mothers womb at the time of partition. A died in the year 1970. D claims equal share (as that of her brother C) of the partitioned property (though her name was not mentioned in the partition deed) and also1/2 of her father A ' share. Is her claim valid under Hindu law or any judgements of the courts

2 years ago May my husband was looking to buy a used truck and his brother had one for sale. We had his brother call for payoff and he told us it was around 7200.00. We have mailed his brother 300 a month since then. A couple months ago, we figured out that we had paid 8100. We called and said what is going on, we overpaid you by 900!! He told us there is still almost 2000. left on the loan. His brother denies ever telling us a payoff amount, which is crazy because we never would have bought a truck not knowing for how much. We then told him would not be sending him any more payments, that we already overpaid and he should be paying us back. He then told us that he did not have the money to finish off the loan and we said fine, we would split the payment for remainder of loan. For 3 months we have sent him 150 for a total of 8550.
Last week we were on vacation and his brother came, broke into truck and took it home, about 400 miles away, he called and said he was repossessing it

what is the word for when some1 has some kind of authority in the gov. for exmpl gives smthng for his friend or relative although he does'nt desrve it or like when a policeman stops a car for speeding then finds put the person driving is his friend so he doesnt give him a ticket. ?

Is it against regulations to post a question asking about my own avatar? I posted a ques a little bit ago asking if my avatar and name was dumb (I had a black and white checkered background a lil bit ago,I just changed it). I've been renting a house in california to a couple for ten years without a problem. I would always make repairs in a timely manner whenever i was told of those problems. I have never raised the rent and respected their privacy. This year has been a nightmare. They have been late on their payment all year and bounced a check last month. I gave them a 3 day notice to pay or quit. They never paid, so I'm in the process of eviction. A couple of days later I get a certified letter . In that letter, by the way, was also sent to the health department and my city, depicts me as a bad lanlord. The tenants states that we had a verbal conversation about those problems several weeks prior to the eviction process. I never knew about those problems the house had. Right now I'm trying to get a repairman to fix the repairs, but they won't let him in.

My former employer did not like me because of my ethinic background. It was not the person that hired me, the company switched hands. I was fired for something, that according to the company handbook should have been a written warning. Other employees violated the same rule and nothing happened to them. I know NYS is an at will state, but I want to know if I could pursue this legally.

A few friends of mine are looking to set up an online financial research company. The company would provide bespoke financial research upon request. E.g. a client may want to know what our opinion is on investing in a specific country or advice on how to construct a portfolio. In this case we would lay out all the options in an unbiased and independent manner. We would not advise on specific investments to enter into but would simply give them an idea of their options. Would the company need to be regulated by the FSA and if so what competency exams would each person who is performing a controlled function need to take? Also, each analyst in the company would hold an MSc in Investment Management and the IMC. Appreciate any help!!

I am asking this on the behalf of my friend because she and i disagree, 5 years ago when we started work at a local hospital, (we dont work with patient or even in the actual hospital dont worry shes not cutting people open or anything.. ) we did our drugtesting, well since then she has started smoking pot on occasion, i told her to be careful in case work does drugtest, she says that as long as she is not coming into work drunk and or stoned and does her job , unless they have probable cause they cannot randomly drug test you, its agianst your rights.. is this true? I think they can whenever for whatever reason, and how can i find the answer.. any one can offer the correct answer? we bet 20 bucks!
