Yes. If the father was a better farther in the first place his son would not have messed up so badly. Its a shame that your question is about the money not about being a good father and leading his child in the right direction. Tell the father he is selfish and needs to grow up and become a better role model for his son.

Yes, he must pay child support for the child until the child reaches the age of 18 years old, since most likely the child will still be living at home with his mother. He is unable to provide for him self, and per the law the other parent is still allowed to receive child support for the minor child.
Even though the child is going to be a father him self, he is still considered a minor in the state of California.

As long as the child is a minor, Daddy Dearest has to continue paying child support.
And under the parental responsibility laws in most if not all states, the child's parents may also be responsible for support payments for the child's progeny at least until the child reaches the Age of Majority, typically 18.

Short answer....yes...until the minor attains age of majority...usually 18 but could be 19 if still in high school or unless the minor becomes emancipated.
Now the real sad news here is if the minor father impregnates a minor minor and the minor mother continues with the pregnancy....the parents of the minor father could be liable for child support for their grandchild, as the minor father is a minor and the parents of a minor are responsible for the financial obligations of the minor.

As far as I know, the 15 year old is still considered a minor, so his father still has to support him.

Yes, he does. Just because he is having a child of his own..it doesn't change the law.

He should pay as long as the mother is still housing, clothing and feeding the 15 year old. If the fifteen year old is independent and living and working on his own, then he should pay it directly to the 15 yr old until he is 18.
