I'm not sure what you're asking, but the Court found Parker need the marijuana for his epilepsy and permitted him to have it, even though it was still a controlled substance. Two things struck me. The Court really considered Parker's needs and the damage to him versus the lack of damage to the government. Second, the Court analyzed the evolution of both science and the law on the use of medical marijuana and affirmatively stated marijuana would help Parker's seizures. I was impressed by the Ontario Court's analysis of the facts and the analysis of the purpose of the Controlled Substances Act, which was being revised/repealed. Personal freedom prevailed. It interpreted section 7 of the Charter and found medical marijuana did not violate it.

I suppose one of the benefits of medicinal marijuana would be that even if it offered no medical benefits at all it would allow the patient to get **** faced if that was something he wanted to do.
