Yes, it is legal.

Try to stick to trustworthy sites. (For example, sites that you've heard of, sites that are commonly used... these sites have security on their websites to stop your details being stolen).

And NEVER give your card details to anyone else online who asks for them... even if they're claiming to be your bank. People can pretend to be your bank, get your details, then steal your money (called "phishing").

It isn't a credit cards where you can charge things...debit cards mean you have the money in your account. You could use it on line, but I think you have to set up on line purchasing through your bank before you can do that.

Yup, completely legal. The internet isn't really that bad for scammers. Just exercise common sense: don't give your details to somewhere you don't trust.

yes it is, but don't do it. once they get your info they can sell it to the highest bidder. anyone can charge what they want on it.
