Well my husband and I ran into my daughters "sperm doner" about a month ago and he told us he wasn't working and thats why hes not paying child support. Fine whatever people go through hard times with jobs and I am used to him not paying.

Well the other day my friend that goes out almost every weekend and gets along with my ex told me that he has been bouncing at 2 different clubs for about a year now. How do I go about turning the jerk-off in?

We have a close neighbor who has about 10 cats, that I know of... I may not be counting properly... but I know there are 5 kittens, a female (who had the kittens probably 3 months ago) a male tabby... and 2 or 3 black and white grown cats - not sure on the gender.

Our neighbors have not tried to get rid of any of the 5 kittens, and now they are getting almost too old to be given away. The mom is now in heat again, and we've seen her getting some "action" from the male tabby.

I'm expecting to see even more cats... I love cats, but I'm sick of the pooping in my flowerbeds and over-running the small col-de-sac we live in... and the cat fights at night!!! They're scary!

What can I do? The neighbors how "own" all these cats don't seem to care about them, besides feeding them and letting them breed more.

(Don't get me wrong, I love cats and have one...but I can just see at least a few of these kittens getting pregnant and having MORE, along with their mother)!!!

I am lucky that I work for a bery underatnding employer that tolerates me being late in every day. I am late in every day because I suffer with IBS that plays up every morning and also during the day sometimes. I am forever running to the loo. If I was ever called for Jury Service I would always be late because of being stuck on the toilet and would always be interrupting the case to be excused. If I try and ignore it I end up in terrible pain. Have been to the Doctors and they can do nothing for me. Would this get me out of Jury Service as it's not really my fault.

I have an idea that i want to turn into a website. It's quite novel and I know that it hasn't been done before, but I'm worried about *copycat* sites coming out with the same thing as soon as I go to launch. Given that I have something that really hasn't been done before, does the law offer me any protection for my idea *without* having to apply for a copyright, servicemark or patent for it?

If so, how would one enforce this if copycats were discovered?

Thanks!

in 2004 a main sewer backed up and our home was surrounded by 10 inches of sewer water, dampcourse breached etc and severe damp/ moisture problems within house, we lost everything, our insurance complany would not admit liability claiming the problems were due to 'furniture being too close to the walls' and 'warm air hitting a cold wall'. We have a 7 year old daughter who was 5 at the time of the incident (10.08.04) temporarily rehoused 16.12.05, we slept on contaminated beds wrapped in sheets & muslin and lived in & breathed in damp for 16 months . I suffered from OCD which worsened & haven't had treatment as my fears/ actions were 'justified' and released back to my gp & I suffered 3 chest infections, 2 pleurisy, 2 kidney infections, an ear infection and skin problems, and since developed We received payment for some of our belongings and also 'goodwill' payments towards essential property repairs, we still don't have a kitchen, we ran out of funds after paying £22k for repair work

We all know that Child Porn is bad, etc. etc. blah blah blah.
Everyone talks about how evil it is and how it exploits children.
But i have a question, what if the child WILLINGLY is in the pornography What if they are the ones taking the pictures of themselves and posting it online and such? What, legally, would happen to the child that is doing that? This is a serious question and i want only serious anwsers with proof. This is very important. Thanks

My landlord walks in to my apartment all the time without notice. He can come in and I could have been in the shower. He has come to the point of coming in while I am out of town and left the thermostat low and when I got back my electricity bill was $60 higher than normal. Are there any laws against this?

My teenage daughter was caught shoplifting a $10 lipstick from a Ride Aid in California. I went to pick her up from the store and was asked to sign a paper in order to release her to me. Now, I received a letter from Rite Aid's law firm telling me to send them $261 to settle their claim. They stated that if I don't send the money they will bring civil action unto me. Does anybody have any advice? Should I send the money or should I wait and see if they bring civil action? I just don't think that it is at all fair to pay all that money for a simple lipstick. I do understand that my daughter did something wrong and I did punish her but why should I send the money to these lawyers. Please help!

Ethics seem to be a problem. Economics are no longer their forte if it ever was and foreign policy seems to be a fiasco.

I guess that means they are going to stick to fear factor.

One reason I am asking is that I know for a fact that they spend money on giving every convict in prison a basket on Christmas. I just wonder how many more of their donations are abused...I am sure people would think twice if they knew some of the money was going to murderers and pedophiles.

My friends account was terminated from Yahoo answers. He repeatedly wrote to Yahoo to ask specifically what he had done and was told that it was confidential. If you commit a crime you are entitled to know specifically what you did. I always thought that in America, our constitution provides us with the right of freedom of speech and if we violate a law at least the courtesy of knowing what we did. What is your opinion on Yahoo's actions?

We went to an Ob/Gyn who did an annual exam and now the insurance company won't pay for the visit and says the doctor billed everything wrong. The doctor says take it up with the insurance company. The insurance company says take it up with the doctors office. And we just keep getting bills for $2000 for an annual exam! What do we do? We can't afford that at all. We are just students. Is there someone out there that can help fix this? Is there a service like the Better Business Bureau for medical practices?
