My half brother was charged with 14 accounts of first degree rape, and we are in oregon so, how long will he be in prison for??

~If he is convicted of even one count of rape 1st (let alone 14 counts), you can kiss his butt goodbye. The sentence would be "til hell freezes over."

He won't go to prison unless he either pleads out or is convicted. He's only charged with them at this point, so no prediction would be accurate based on what you have given.

~To bcptm: that's about right but you forgot to add:

"and that's nowhere near long enough". That's 'til hell freezes over 14 times, consecutive - and still not long enough.

May he reap inside as he sowed outside. Yo, dude, enjoy the showers. And may he be selected for civil committment for life should parole and/or corrections be dumb enough to cut him loose. Of course, if he's innocent ... wait a minute - 14 counts? - innocent? Yeah, right.

I'd say he might be looking at life in prison.
