Severl years ago I heard a nasty nasty rumor; that the I.R.S. forced the family of the late Sammy Davis Jr. (rat pack singer) to exume his body from the grave! why? because apparently Sammy had been buried with large amounts of GOLD JEWELS (watches, chains etc etc.) that the I.R.S. wanted so the GOLD can be sold to pay taxes!? Will somebody please investigate this rumor? will somebody please make a request to the I.R.S. using the Freedom of Information Act to find out if this is True! and if it is True What if anything should we do? Thanks!

I worked for a company that gave me $1,500 towards some of my tuition costs. Part of the agreement with the company that I signed says that I'm obligated to reimburse the company for that $1500 if I have voluntary/involuntary termination within one year from completion of the course. I completed the course in December 2005. I voluntarily left the company in May 2006. So, the company wants the money back.

After reading over the entire agreement many times over, it only says I'm obligated to reimburse them, but it does not give a time period or payment schedule, so I assume I can pay them $1 a year for the next 1,500 years if I wanted to. Of course, they don't like that idea and threatened to take me to collections (which may or may not hurt my credit score - I don't know).

I don't particularily like the company. What can I do to maximize my rights? Can I tell them I'll give them $10/year for the next 150 years and if they have a problem with it, take me to court?

Honestly, most bank robberies are a crime of desperation, often committed by decent non-violent people. Child molestation is a 'crime' of sickness, yet usually they get off easy... Which is more likely to do it again, which would you rather have on the streets. Some thing is not right here.

Does Lie Detector (polygraph) test REALLYY work?? And is it true that even if you are telling the truth it will come out that your lieing cause yoour nervouse???? I am concerned over the second ammendment right to bare arms. Please argue in a logical format the reasons for or against firearms. This website is a petition to prevent a further invasion of rights...the first assault weapon ban is nothing compared to this one...You won't be able to purchase any kind of guns except for bolt action rifles, six shooters, and severly restricted shotguns...some other weapons also like hand guns or rifles that don't have the ability to accept magazines over ten rounds and shotguns over five shells etc.

You will need to read that before understanding what this new question is about.

Okay, so we had a lot of support. People sported the slogan "Freedom of Religion". The thing is, those of us who did (most of us anyway), got in trouble. I however did not get caught so I do not know what the consequences were. I know that some people were sent to the office for wearing the slogan and got in trouble... all we were doing was supporting a slogan for a peaceful protest. we had no vulgar words or profanity on our clothing or notebooks or whatever. we were just innocently wearing the slogan.
therefore, was it right for the school to punish those who wore the slogan "Freedom of Religion"?

This really is turning out to be a HUGE issue at my school.

I want to give my 30 day notice of termination to recieve my refundable deposit back from a landloard. What should I say in it? I intend to leave it clean and rentable when I leave. I am paying him this months rent and giving him prior notice.This man has not repaired pluming leaks and electrical problems that exist now and I have found a decent place to move.Please help me state this right as he has'nt given anyone I know back there deposits that I know of and I've been here a year. I sold a car of mine, which was running fine, he test drove it, and said "The car probably needs a tune up", and that was it. He paid me, signed a contract stating that car is beong sold "as is", and there is no refunds and exchanges once the car is sold, and se signed it, now he is calling me stating that car broke down, and cannot be fixed, and if i do not give his money back, he will sue me!, is this possible??

I know that Kennedy killed a teenage girl back in the sixties...why did he never do time for that.........Ive heard he said he was drunk but if you kill somebody when drunk isnt that still a crime......lots of people go to jail for that stuff....werent there some rumors that the girl was pregnant and might have already been dead before Kennedy drove into the water that night? Hubby and i are divorcing it is messy. My husband wants to sell everything?I want to keep our home but my attorney thinks it will be easier for all parties involved if we just sell the house that we bought for 389 grand now worth about 415 grand.Hubby also wants to sell furniture and split the money. I had gotten a letter in the mail with a check.The letter said I won the lotto in Canada and it comes with a check that looks real.You call the number on the letter and the person you talk to tells you to cash the check and send th money to an insurance agent and you do thinking your going to get the lotto prize and then the bank calls you and tells you the check was fake.
