Keep in mind that my mother walked out on me 20 years ago and I am only the one making the decisions because my grandmother can't & my aunt (her sister) won't.

Where if a pet owner is found to be irresponsible at taking care or maintaining a pet, he/she is then banned from owning any pets for a limit of 5 years and if found to be owning pets after being banned, he/she will face jail time and a fine. Instead of punishing the animals that are products of these irresponsible people, why not punish the people themselves.

Has the court ever disregarded stare decisis and overturned its previous cases?

See:

Plessy v. Ferguson
Brown v. Board
Dred Scott v. Sanford

To name a few... The USSC ruled on these and later overturned them.

There is no reason why Roe v. Wade cannot be overturned.

The boss had called for a small shipment of bubble wrap. Friday, when the employee received the $40 worth of bubble wrap she placed it under her desk (like what is done with every small shipment) and the following monday, it was gone. The boss accused the employee of stealing, and fired her. Is this grounds for firing? or are there other actions to be taken?

My boyfriend was recently arrested for possession of a firearm. He was previously charged with attempted murder (discharge of firearm) but was found not guilty by reason of insanity. He was diagnosed with PTSD in 2002 or 2003. If he was found not guilty why is it unlawful for him to be in possession of a firearm? Am I missing something here?
