If there is more than one civil application filed or pending in courts realted to each other, do I need to provide an original vakalatnama for EACH case or can copies of one original be used for the rest of the related cases/civil applications or appeals.

In a single suit in the court you have to file only one vakaltnama in original dually singed by the original party (petitioner/Plaintiff/Respondent) & the Advocate/counsel/lawyer representing him/her. Now if subsequent applications are made in the same suit no new Vakaltnama is required. But if a separate suit is pending in same court between the same parties a new original Vakaltnama is required for this suit, similarly a new original vakaltnama is required in a suit filed in another court between the same parties. Why a separate vakaltnama is required because vakaltnama is nothing but power of attorney you give to your advocate/counsel/lawyer to represent you in a particular suit/matter not in all matters. But if you want the same advocate to appear for you in all suits/matters pending in the same court between the same parties you can get all the matters joined together & be heard together & in such a case a single original vakaltnama will hold good for all these matters. In your case as you stated more then one application/petition is pending in courts but they are related to each other, here if these are pending in different courts then in each of the court you have to give original vakaltnama., but if all the pending in same court & are being heard together even one original vakaltnama will hold good with due permission of the court.
