I recently found a wallet with several cards, photos and over $500 cash. I would like to return it to it's owner but want to be guaranteed a reward of 20% or better. I will not be pleased with a simple "thank you" from the owner if I return it.

I was thinking of calling the owner (I has his name & number now) and telling him I have the wallet and insist on the minimum 20% reward. If he does not agree I will simply tell him he won't ever see it again.

I'm just not sure how to word it.

Any suggestions?

He is trying to get out of paying child support. His family condones his behavior of a 22 year old man. Both he and his family wanted me to terminate the pregnancy because of "he is not ready" and I won't do that.

Women have the option of being a parent after sex by means of abortion and/or adoption. She doesn't need permission from the biological father to do so, she just needs someone to say they are the father and sign the papers. So if a woman can choose to be or not be a parent after sex, why shouldn't a man have that same privilege? Many will say he had the option to use protection or not have sex. The woman has these same options but she also has the option of changing her mind after. I'm not saying take that away from women. I'm just saying men should have that same option. If abortion was illegal then both parties would have the same rules. As it is now, there is one rule for woman and another for men. The question is more about equality; equal rights. No one is going to force a woman into parenthood, physically, emotionally, mentally or financially. Why is it ok to force a man? If you think its justified inequality then just say that, people will respect that.

My best friend (who is a straightedge kid and never has commited a crime) was told he might have to stay a weekend in juvineille hall. His parents took him to the detention center.
They said that he always argues with them (which is true, but they are very unreasonable. ex) They won't give him his depression meds, and he protests.) The police said that he should spend some time in jail...but, he has never commited a federal crime. Or any crime for that matter. He is a really good person. Is this legal?

I have reciently been called to the office at work & given a verbal warning to not be talking during work to my other co workers about negative things at work, we all are guilty there of doing this so I accepted that ..no problem 2 days later I had the day off & the girls called me to come in & pick up my birthday present from them, I did & since they were having a smoke break I went to the back of the building where I thought they would be. Turns out they had just went in, so I went in the back door & got the present from them & left. The next day I was called in the office again! This time I was given a written warning & told next is suspension without pay or termination!!! When I read the contents of the reasons why it says that I came to work & didnt enter through the proper door & took up the girls time . They are the ones who asked me n & everyone comes in that door . I feel that they want to get rid of me ! What do you think ? or am I just being paranoid?

Are you considered common law as soon as you live with someone and there are children involved even if the children belong to one parent. Or does the standard 12 months to the date apply.
My situation is that I work and paid my regular taxes from work which is usually enough at the end of the year, however my partner and I bought a house September and now live together. This means I'm going to have to pay My children are not his children. Do I have to claim common law for my 2006 Income tax. This makes a huge difference to me if I don't have claim him, if I do I'll be paying alot this year even if he wasn't living with me for most of the year.
Also How does someone live as a couple in my situation live together and never claim together and get away with it, while researching for this answer I found out alot and I mean alot that don't and never have claimed together for years. I also know some who have gotten caught how is that fair for some.

If they were just some forever 21 clothes i wouldnt care.

But im talking about:
pair of 7 jeans a $395 Coach bag and brand new guess heels nd 3 guess tops.(tube,t shirt nd jacket)

I lent it to her because she didnt have anything to wear to the club. I thought i could trust her. she went home after. she said she would return them the next day.

But then she started making up excuses saying that she doesnt have to time to bring my clothes.keept on setting up dates n flake out. totally ignoring me.

i mean that is total disrespect for me.I feel abused in a way. and this has gone too far. its been a long time and it's ridiculous. ive left her messages, never responded.i dont get it. I went to her house a few times, she's never home.her parents are home. but i dont wnt to walk up in there and go thru her closet cuz i dont know where it's at.

So basically i want to know if it's possible ifI could just roll up to her house with some officers to get my belongings??
