My fiancee and I want to write out an agreement between us regarding our finances, property, and prerequisites to divorce. For example, we want a clause that requires us to go through x-number of hours of marital counseling before we can file for divorce. There's also a clause stating that in the event of a divorce, neither one of us is entitled to the other's retirement funds, etc. Can something like this be done by ourselves, and then just notarized or signed before witnesses or something? Or do we have to get this done by an actual lawyer? I'm not in the least bit interested on whether or not we Should get this done, or whether or not You would do this. I'm simply curious if we can do it ourselves or if we have to retain a lawyer. Thanks!

I was sent an e-mail stating that i won the britsh lottery and to send money for the delivery to global courier to send the check to my address. I was leary about it at first but then I realized it was in my actual mailbox and not junk mail so then i thought this must be legit. now they are sending me email requsting 7500.00 to pay for taxe on the money becuase the tax comptroller stop the courier and check the package and if i dont send the money i will forfit the 1.5 million to brittish tax collectors to give out to organizations . I ASSURE YOU THAT I AM NOT HAPPY AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CONTACT SOMEONE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE . THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED . HARD WORKING PEOPLE VALUE THEIR MONEY AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING SCAMMED . I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THESE PEOPLE WILL BE CAUGHT OR STOPPED. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED THE LEGAL AUTHORITIES HERE IN MY COUNTRY AND I WANT TO KNOW WHO TO CONTACT IN YOUR COUNTRY.

Okay, here is the situation:

A student at my high school was suspended for 5 days and faces possible expulsion for having Wiccan books in his backpack. He didn't have anything else that would get him in trouble.
I'm a fully devoted Christian, but this situation is still not right...no matter the religion.
The district handbook policy specifically states that it does not discriminate against race nor religion.
The students are trying to stand up by wearing the slogan "Freedom of Religion" on their clothing or sport it somewhere... do you think us students can make a point to the district?? can we do anything about it since the district has a higher authority??
and is it right for the school to punish the student when he didn't do anything wrong??

2 years ago, I let a "friend" live with me temporarily. When he left, he had to take a bus out of the state, so he didn't have a way to take all of his stuff. (Several boxes of cothes, big pictures, mirrors, etc.) He hasn't ever offered to pay me to store all this stuff, but will occasionally call and say he intends on getting it back. However, when he came to visit a couple of months ago and I WANTED him to take his stuff, he didn't take anything. Can I toss all this stuff? My boyfriend and I will be getting a place together soon, and I don't think I should have to keep up with the other guys stuff whenever I move. Help?

The political doctrine of Separation of Church and State states that government and religious institutions are to be kept separate from each other. Alright, but why then do U.S. trails force witnesses to swear on the Bible before they testify in court? It seems highly contradictory.

I just read that article about Reebok taking Nike to court, and for some reason the lawsuit was filed in east texas, Nike 's headquarters is in Oregon and Reebok is owned by Addidas which is a german company, so it begs the question, why is the lawsuit filed in east texas?

i went on a program which was 6500 total called natural hair regrowth institute and i would make monthly payements. i was not getting the proper treatment due to poor service. this includes the owner changing dates on me when i would beable to come in interfering with my work schedule. also a staff member refused to do massages at given times. . i wanted to end the program and the owner agreed to end it with a 1000 dollar return to my credit card. This would leave me paying 5000 total not even going half way into the program. i swiped my card got the 1000 receit but this payment never registered to my account. I tryed countless times contacting him, he refused to answer or return my calls or emails. it was at least 1 month and i never got any return to my card so i disputed these charges. now i got the 1000 back and he says if i dont reverse the charges he will send to collection agency and make me pay everything i owe including lawyer fees i dont have the contract on me what do i do?

How do you feel about the Carry Conceal Law in your state? I feel that it is a great idea and only Law abiding citizens should have the right to carry. The Police cannot be everywhere or stop everything so, we all deserve to protect ourselves from crime. I also, feel that we need to use common sense when we pull that weapon and use it. Don't use it to just be hurting someone instead to protect yourself and others if that time comes. Life is precious and I hope I never ever have to use my weapon except for target practice. It sometimes feel like the old western days to be able to carry a gun 24/7 and hope you never have to use it. What do you think?

Can I sign a waiver of prosecution as a victim, so they won't prosecute the defendent in a case? Where would I obtain such a form. This is something I want to do and the prosecutor has never offered me one even though I have spoken to him and told him I want the charges dropped. The State has picked up the charges, and I plan to call him back and let him know if he Subpeon's me, that I plan on invoking my 5th ammendment rights. Even though I signed a sworn statement under duress, can I invoke my rights on the 5th ammendment and be compliant?
Thanks
