She can ask the court to order the test and the court can issue the order. She would have to convince the judge she had some reason to think you may be the father. She can't just ask them to do paternity tests an everyone in town. If you were her boyfriend at or around the time she got pregnant, that may be enough to convince the judge.

It depends on the state but usually yes. She can claim that you are the father and if evidence tends to show you were living with her or was her boyfriend at time of conception she can file a claim for child support. If you refuse paternity you will take a test.

You just can't decide to have nothing to do with the child if it is yours..remember it is about the child...not about her beating you or vice versa....and if you are not honest and the paternity test shows it is yours, even though there are child support payment guidelines judges take that into consideration.

Oh, yeah, if the judge issues a court order stating you will show up for a paternity test by a certain date and you don't, you're in contempt of court and can go to jail.

If it's your child, man up and do the right thing, take the test and if it's really your baby you owe child support AND should probably think about really being a father, for God's sake.

The answer to your question is YES a woman can force you to have a dna test... if she happens to be a Judge.

Maybe you'll get lucky and find out she was cheating on you. But if not, you'll have an expensive 18 year reminder to use protection.

Wrong. If you're the father, you have a financial obligation as well as a moral one. Unless you enjoy being called a deadbeat dad - AKA a scumbag.

Well, wouldn't ya want to know anyway? 18 years of child support can be pretty irritating if the child wasn't yours.

If she sues you for paternity and you don't think it is your child, you would be wise to get the test. If you think it probably is yours, you would be wise to accept your responsibility.
