Tell his family if that if was "not ready" to be a father then he should have kept his penis in his pants until he grows up enough to accept responsibility for the children his little friend can create.
If he's not ready for children, then he is not ready for sex - any time a man inserts his penis into a woman he does it with the full knowledge that a child may resultl.....if he can't handle that reality he needs to stick to girlie magazines and his hand.

I think it's a good thing that some states require men to pay for prenatal care too. I suggest you contact your local welfare office to find out if that is possible. I think the man is a total ***- but if he was under the impression you could not get pregnant he could just be very put off by the whole situation. I would want to see how he behaves once he sees the child and starts paying support.

He is not man. Too bad you didnt know this before you got pregnant. Get a lawyer and get the child support. If he did not want a baby he should have kept it in his pants. Its too late now to say he is not ready. Good Luck and God Bless!

I think he is a punk. If he's 'ready' to have sex, he is 'ready' to pay child support...
As the law stands, it is YOUR choice. He has to pay for the child, even if he doesn't want it or even if he doesn't have visitation rights.
I do not agree with abortion, and I applaud your efforts. But in reality, you should listen to the counsel of those close to you, but in the end, you will be the one rearing the child.
Good luck and I wish you the best.

It's a two person game. He volunteered for his half.
He is scum. His family is scum.
Go after that dirtball through your social services department and/or a lawyer to secure child support payments.
Please do not "terminate" anything unless absolutely necessary. If you want to go ahead and have the kid, go for it.

He is scum. You are doing the right thing. Stay the course. Put his name on the birth certificate and get a lawyer to go after him for child support. If you cannot afford a lawyer call social services and see if they can help.Good luck.

He will have to pay you anyway as long as you can prove it is his child. You might have to do a DNA test. It will be long a long process but hang in there. After the baby is here things may change but I would be careful.

Just don't be a fool (you know the rest)...
And good for you not terminating the baby.
In some instances lawyers are helpful and this is probly one of them.

good for you. If he did not want a child, he should have wrapped it up.
Anyway, go after his sorry behind. Get the name put on the birth certificate and take him to court. His parents are pathetic too. covering for him. He is an adult and wanted to do adult things so he must take responsibility.

Slime ball.
However, there are way too many single parent children out there. In this day and age YOU should have taken precautions. It's your body and I assume you know how baby's are made. Thanks for adding to the increasing moral problem in America.
