If they were just some forever 21 clothes i wouldnt care.
But im talking about:
pair of 7 jeans a $395 Coach bag and brand new guess heels nd 3 guess tops.(tube,t shirt nd jacket)
I lent it to her because she didnt have anything to wear to the club. I thought i could trust her. she went home after. she said she would return them the next day.
But then she started making up excuses saying that she doesnt have to time to bring my clothes.keept on setting up dates n flake out. totally ignoring me.
i mean that is total disrespect for me.I feel abused in a way. and this has gone too far. its been a long time and it's ridiculous. ive left her messages, never responded.i dont get it. I went to her house a few times, she's never home.her parents are home. but i dont wnt to walk up in there and go thru her closet cuz i dont know where it's at.
So basically i want to know if it's possible ifI could just roll up to her house with some officers to get my belongings??

Yup it's your property. I believe that's larceny.
I wouldn't relie on wikipedia for legal advice, but this might be a somewhat helpful summary.

Here is what I would do, I would go to her home when she was there call her using a cell phone and when she tells you she doesn't have time to return the items to you, you knock on the door and when she answers you tell her you were in the neighborhood and you want your things back. Make sure you take a frien just in case she acts ignorant.
If that doesnt work call the police once you get over there and tell them she stole your things and will not give them back despite you attempts.
If that doesn't work take her butt to small claims court to get you things back.
I hate people that borrow others peoples things and wont return them, that is why I keep a couple of criminal on my team for such instances like this.

Yes you can take legal action - take her to civil court. It will cost you money and you'll have to prove that (1) she has the clothes and (2) they are yours (you would need receipts, or maybe photos of you wearing the goods, preferable photos that are date stamped).
It's annoying but when you add up what they are worth now, it's cheaper to chalk it up to experience and forget about it.
But if you want, you can call your local police department and ask if they would escort you to get your clothes. They'll tell you for sure if you can just go over.
Another option is if you have photos of you in the clothes, or receipts, try going over and speaking to her parents and asking if you can get your clothes back since she's avoiding you.

If I were you I would call 911. Its a necessary call, so they wont get mad.
Tell them your friend has clothing of yours and you have been asking for it back over the past months, and you haven't got any responses back from them. You will talk with a police officer, they might then come in contact with the person who has your clothing and aware them that they need to return it.
If your going to do anything like this just call 911. Tell them its not an emergency and that you need to talk to a police officer about someone taking your clothing.

Yes, you can take a legal action agains anybody even if you do not have a case, the diference is wining or losing...you will need proof, receipt, witness, etc.. Sometimes the time consuming and the headaches are not worth it...so is up to you...if you have the time and money..go for it...for sure you will make a enemy...good luck

Any police officer will tell you that it is not a criminal matter. They might tell you to take it to small claims court. That is about you only remody. If you lived with the person you could have got your belonging with the police sooner. You waited too long. They would not get involved now. Small claims court is your answer now.

yes, you can take legal action here. as for rollin up with officers that wouldn't happen. you would most likely bring this to small claims court to either get the court to order the return of the clothes or be reimbursed for the cost. with that though it would help your cause if you still had the receipts for these items. why not just tell her parents though, save yourself the cost/hassle of court.

Well, there is no way you can just roll up to her house with some cops.... But what you can do is take her to court if you really feel pissed off...which I think you do... Take her to small claims court and you should get the value back to you..
Good Luck

i think of the communicate board replied you, yet you haven't any grounds to sue. in case you do sue, it fairly is going to come out of your pocket in case you pass the two to a criminal expert or record for a court listening to or the two. the costly sweaters might might desire to finished over $10,000 at time of cleansing with evidence of what the cost became. the only factor cleaners many times pay out on is for lost clothing with a pending claims cost ticket. they have coverage to guard against that situation, yet that not often occurs of their corporation often.
