Has the court ever disregarded stare decisis and overturned its previous cases?

See:

Plessy v. Ferguson
Brown v. Board
Dred Scott v. Sanford

To name a few... The USSC ruled on these and later overturned them.

There is no reason why Roe v. Wade cannot be overturned.

NO

If that happens the religious right wing conservatives would no longer have a platform to run on.

There is a chance that it could happen. The Supreme Court has become more conservative in the past two years. Since Sandra Day O'Connor retired, she was often the swing vote in decisions, the court now has the power to do it because a majority of the justices are Republicans.

you are able to't "repeal" a preferrred courtroom decision. it really is not genocide to get rid of a fetus it is not any longer a touch one, newborn, infant, or in spite of you want to call it. maximum abortions take position at the same time as the fetus hasn't thoroughly shaped yet. the authentic mission is that you're ignorant and are getting used by technique of a few very evil those who're using your vote to make the poor more advantageous poor and the wealthy richer. you're being performed for a fool.

likely will never be overturned - but will be modified over time to reflect that the great majority of Americans are not comfortable at either extreme (abortion on demand - regardless vs No abortions under any circumstances)
Common sense modifications are permitted health of mother exceptions and parental notification

You seem to have answered your own question - yes, the court has reversed its own precedent previously. However, I think it unlikely Rowe will be reversed any time soon.

Reversing Rowe would only put the power to control terminations back in the hands of individual states - it would not per se make terminations illegal.

anything is possible but i don't think it's probable that roe v wade will be overturned. i certainly hope not. i hate to think that women would have to resort to the back rooms as they once did.

There is no reason it should be. The arguments in favor of the decision are no less compelling than they were at the time.

It should be. The court should not be legislating what is purely a moral question. Murder is murder no matter the choice, circumstance or whatever.
