I have no problem with it. The way I see it is if a person is willing to give a child the love he/she deserves that's great. The children that have never experienced that kind of family love; well it's sad. But I do think that serious thought should be put into exposing a child in home when this subject is so heavily disputed. It's just something to think about. It shouldn't be taken lightly. People are so mean now and days. Just be prepared for what's ahead. Raising children in a gay household is better than maybe never having a home to call their own. I agree with you completely.

It is interesting you bring this up, I was discussing this very topic with someone a few weeks ago.

I feel that yes, we certainly need more good foster parents or adoptive parents in this country. My concern is this; two males and two females do not represent the "ideal" family unit. It is not keeping with what the Biblical definition of a married couple is and that is where things get sticky.

My basic concern is not that the gay couple cannot be good parents, it is what kind of psychological issues with the children have being brought up with an unconventional couple? Mind you, my concern here is completely about what it does to the children, it has nothing to do with the ability of the couple to provide for the child.

I guess we will have to wait for a study to be done on the families raising children now to see what happens in the long run.

Yea, there is nothing wrong with gay people raising kids. The APA has done multiple studies confirming this fact.

There is NO PROOF that gay parents are somehow inferior to straight parents. None. Nada. Zilch.

There is NO PROOF that kids are worse off when raised by two men/women compared to being raised by a man and a woman.

Gay parents do not raise gay children, this is very simple logic, do straight parents raise straight children?

There is nothing ethically wrong with being raised by homosexuals. There is nothing ethically wrong with being a single parent. There is nothing ethically wrong by being raised by a grandfather, aunt, uncle or even by an older brother.

To the social retards who think this is a bad idea: What? Do you honestly think all gay kids come out of gay homes only?

hi. I agree that marriage is a sacred union between male and lady merely, interior God's kingdom, and His guidelines. Civil regulation is a diverse count all jointly. They hardly ever coincide with God's guidelines. gay and Christian are at the same time unique words, as Jesus says in case you want me you'll keep my commandments, and if someone says they love Him and do not keep his commandments, they're a liar and the fact isn't in them. So if gays choose a civil union, enable 'em. There should be NO Church sanctioned gay marriage, nonetheless. As we are all okay conscious, in usa we've a difficulty called separation of Church and State. If civil regulation needs to allow the union of gays and lesbians, so what? It has no longer some thing to do with faith or the Church...it has to do with a morally bankrupt international and a corrupt authorities. Our u . s . has guidelines allowing all sorts of garbage, so why ought to this be any diverse? How corrupt became Roman authorities in the course of the time of Christ? He suggested to obey the guidelines of the land, and keep your eyes in the course of heaven. Jesus also suggested at the same time as we are in the international no longer to be OF the international. If all of us did that, properly, we does no longer challenge ourselves extremely a lot with problems with this international... as far as gay adoption is going, properly, i'm antagonistic to it, yet back, none individuals can opt for our dad and mom, even if or not they're "strong" [or no longer], even if or not they're Christian [or no longer], even if or not they're abusive [or no longer]. Heterosexual atheists can and do have toddlers, and elevate them with their humanistic perception device. we gained't settle on who has toddlers and who does no longer, merely because we do not accept as true with them (a minimum of no longer in usa). when we are adults, we ought to opt for the way we can stay our lives or perhaps if to settle for Christ, no count how we were raised or who raised us.

Minorities shouldn't be the only children available to homosexuals to adopt. It is about their parenting ability not their sexual orientation.

Well, If they are orphans, they need a real home no matter what.
But I don't agree with homosexuality and children need a father and a mother, not just 2 mothers, fathers etc...

I agree. Virtually all gay people had straight parents, so parental sexual orientation obviously doesn't matter, if that is people's concern.

I agree.

After all, if the breeders had done THEIR jobs, there would be no need for foster care.
