Examples:
Multiple marriages legal in other countries - only the first one counts here.
Gay marriage.
Incestuous marriage.

As long as you have a legal marriage certificate from Canada, yes it is legal. There, may be new paperwork now, as the Immigration, seem to be changing their policies. You can always call Immigration, and they will tell you. good luck............

No matter where you were married, if it was a legal ceremony, you are married where ever you go.
