I mean, how come America can run this weird prison where they can hold people forever without charging them, or letting them see a lawyer, or have their day in court, or any other normal civil right that any other prisoner may have, and they do it all on Cuba? What kind of a world does America want for God's sake?

I really would like to work in politics and I would rather not practice law. I am just about to finish a degree in political science and am considering joint degree programs that allow you to get your J.D and MPP in 4 years, shaving a year off. Is this a good idea? He filed so he wouldn't have to continue to repay me for our marital debt that I paid off. He knew it was all paid off, but put it in his bankruptcy two different ways to make it seem like he owed a lot of money. He also lied about most of his assets. I tried to go to the hearing, but he lied about when it would be. His lawyer refused to talk to me. Can he really declare bankruptcy on debt he doesn't owe? Isn't that fraud? Can I do anything to get back the money he owes me?

It would be a mandatory (minimum) of 4 years in prison to physically abuse people 70 years old and older. If it were up to me it would be 4 years of hard labor in jail.

At my job, I was told that I was told by my district manager that I was one of the lowest paid keyholder/assistant managers in my district, region, and maybe the company. Then I was told that it was because of my age. Almost 6 months later, they hired in new employees under me at a higher pay even though they lacked experince because they were older.
