If a box or ? is not filled or answerwd correctly is it there fore invalid since a ticket is a legal document to be used in court,and if this is true where can the info be found?

It might be true. The ticket basically has to provide proper notice of the charges against you - so it should at least have your name correct, the time and date, and should have the correct alleged violation (vehicle code section, etc.). If any of these things are wrong, you could try and argue that you were not given proper notice.

That argument may or may not work. If you choose to challenge the ticket, I would do some case law research and see if anyone else has been successful. Try looking at www.findlaw.com.

Thats not entirely true...Basically as long as the most pertinent and relevant information on the ticket is proper, then its going to be a good one. A wrong name or client ID number or a wrong statue number may, and I emphasize MAY, get the ticket dismissed.
