It is illegal to lie to the bankruptcy court in any form, of course. But, technically you can be discharged of debt that you don't owe at the time of the bankruptcy. For example, if I get into a car accident today and I think it's my fault, I can file for bankruptcy that very day and declare a potential judgement resulting from this accident as debt. Note that I havne't been sued, there is no judgement agianst me. But neverthless this can be discharged in bankruptcy. Of course, you situation is different

late new child help can not be cleared in a financial disaster, despite if it seems he's not the father of the infants. Of observe, those he owes the debt to can nevertheless sell the debt to somebody else, after the financial disaster, coming up a sparkling debt.

17% of the people filing Chapter 11 include debts that are not truly theirs. Many credit card companies run scams on people filing against them for debts they don't owe. I guess if they can do it so can your husband. Be thankful you don't have to associate with him anymore.

yes, it's illegal. fr_chuck's right ... or you can contact the state's prosecution office for direction. many a criminal has been caught with the help of an ex. he should get an "A" for stupidity.
i hope you didn't have children with this man ... but if you did, please Don't bad mouth him to the children. keep it positive. if you do have them, think through your motives and consider the consequences. behind bars he can't pay child support and right or wrong your kids are going to resent you for turning in Daddy. keep the kids out of "grown-folks business". let them have their childhood. they'll appreciate your efforts for one day for it.
ps. you might want to consider getting some counseling and into some kind of divorce support group. most women would have contacted THEIR OWN attorney before contacting his attorney. whether or not you realize it now ... you've got "issues". don't get offended -- it happens to the best of us. get some help.

I would say that's a bit shady , maybe illegal,, yet I think that after your divorced what he does on his own may only harm him! I would just write it off ! Don't lower yourself to play games! Do you want the money to feel as if you WON! >? Divorce is not a game mature people play, be done, move on, take the loss!
