The U.S. Court of Appeals, 2nd. District, Washington, D.C. just ruled that CC did not violate the Constitution as the framers of the Constitution meant the Second Amendment Rights was not specifically for the Militia but for the average citizen. In other words, you do not have to have a permit or license to carry ( concealed or not ) for your own defense or the defense of your neighbor.

No when you buy a hand gun it is registered to you, that is why you need to keep it under lock and key. If you want to carry concealed on your person or in your car (loaded), you will need to get a permit. Some states it is fairly easy to get a concealed carry permit (I have one) other states its is not so easy. The thing to remember is that if you are going to own firearms then you need to be RESPONSIBLE and keep them locked up and out of the reach of children. When your children are old enough you need to be RESPONSIBLE and teach them proper gun safety.

There is nothing wrong with owning guns, just be responsible.

Also one more note, you need to find out whether or not your state is a castle doctrine state or a retreat state.

Castle doctrine means that if someone enters your home with intent to harm you can use deadly force.

Retreat means that if someone enters your home with intent to harm you must retreat to the furthest point in your home then if they persist you may use deadly force. I like Castle doctrine better.

Not in Arizona. No registration, no license... unless you want to carry concealed in public. For CC you need to attend a class, get fingerprinted, and carry a CC permit.

There are also Federal fees to have full auto or silencers.

Your mileage may vary depending on your state's laws.

This would depend on where you live.

In Wyoming all you need do is pass the background check when buying your gun. Then you can keep it in your house, take it hunting or out for target practice, or to the range.

And, yes, you can use it to defend your property.

I don't know about other states or other countries.

Depends on the jurisdiction.

A few months ago in Indianapolis, a woman shot an intruder dead in her home with an unlicensed handgun and the police said that since it was inside her home there was no ordinance violated.

In order to possess a gun, a license must be approved by the government.

Yes you do if it is a handgun and you have no prior felony convictions. Rifles and shotguns are allowed without a permit...

funny that you asked this question because I asked just about the same one yesterday about getting a CCW. Yes you have to have a permit to have it in your home and to carry it legally . to protect yourself and shoot a person that enters your home and poses a threat if you didn't it might bring some criminal charges against you

For handguns in some states, yes. For shotguns and rifles, as far as I know, you do not. The firearm must be registered though.
