I love the snooze button. I love it so much, I actually have to set my alarm half an hour earlier just to make up for the time wasted by hitting the snooze button. I have gotten in trouble because of it from time to time. Eventually your body learns to hit the button entirely independently of your brains function.

If the purpose of the clock was for one to set it and get up so as to get ready and leave on time - Why and who thought of the snooze button? There is an off button if one is uninterested in getting up at all.

I never use it. I get my A** out of bed when the alarm sounds. That is, after all, what it is for. Snooze buttons are just an excuse. Get a clock without one if you are prone to use one.

Another idea is to put your alarm clock across the room so you are forced to get up when it goes off so the whole house is not disturbed.

No. They should however make a law that you can set whatever snooze time you please. I can't find a clock like that. It always seems to be only 9 minutes. Why 9 minutes? If I want 11 more minutes I can't have it.

ARRRGGG! I hate the snooze button. Its like, okay, you set your alarm to go off early, then you turn it off, and sleep for another hour and then your late to work.
My old man is sooooo bad about that!
