They're ruining and threatening our society, and since violence is increasing, we need to put our foot down. Unstable and violent people will breed kids in unstable environments and more often than not they will turn out the same way and the cycle will continue. If we are so tolerant of fatherless homes, then why don't we at least deport the trouble they have caused?

Oh wait, I'm being JUDGEMENTAL and INTOLERANT, stupid me.

When I am tending to my garden individuals from the house come out to speak over hand held radios. And, from their conversation, they would seem to be monitoring my house.
I am an 18 year Florida resident, not breaking any laws and minding my own business. What might this be about?

I saw this story on a current affairs show about how a group of people are trying to start a charity where you can donated old/faded/freyed flags for them to be remade into garments for those in the third world. Apparently the material they use for flags is some of the most durable, and hence this would be very practicle and cut down on waste.

Do you think this is a good idea?
Do you thinkg there are many ethical issues involved (i.e. degration of the flag)?
Would people want to where clothes made of flags from other countries, particularly the US? (im not talking about specific religous groups but people in povery in general)

after your opinions

I had my taxed done at h&r block this year. Before I went I completed my return online at their website but didnt submit it. I wanted the 2 day loan. When I got there all of the info was already in there and after the women checked everything the amount was the same. They turned me down for the loan and I called the bank and it was due to an offset. I called the irs number it told me to and it stated that I had no offsets. Even the banks other line said I had no offsets while the other one said I was turned down due to an offset. So I got to pay over $200 to have someone submit all of the information I had entered to the IRS and got my money back no sooner. Actually may take longer. And dont ask them for answers they have none. They use a bank that they cant get a hold of apparently. Its my job to call this bank. I didnt go to this bank so I shouldnt have to deal with them.

On Monday one of my Co-workers - who I admit I don't like - went off on one and admitted that she had been reading peoples emails (logging on to their systems) and sending herself copies of the emails. She also stated that she has been secretly recording conversations that take place in the office when she isn't there.

I have complained to by boss but he hasn't even disipline her - claiming that I don't actually have the right to be annoyed about it and they don't actually know if she has been recording conversations. They had all the other staff in the office - and told us that we can no longer send personal email to each other - granted me and another girl did say some rotten stuff about her in our email - but only because we don't like her! They also told us that we now have to be nice to her - she now claims she won't do it anymore - but I can't trust her. What are our rights? Is it legal for an employee to do this and can I take action against my Boss for doing nothing about it

responding from some answers to my last question...

I kno we need some laws, Im not saying I want to live in a freaking jungle or something, its just I dont want people telling me how to live my life. I love animals so much and if I want to have more then 6 in MY home that I paid for, I should have that right. If Im in a hurry and the flow of traffic is between 70 and 80 mph why should someone picked randomly get a ticket for driving with the flow of traffic just because its over 70 mph? Why are people telling me where to park my car on my own property and telling me what I should own in my own home. Its rediculous!

A 17 (legal high school dropout) is staying at her mothers friend house, can anybody get in trouble besides the mother?

the daughter explains that the mother is unstable and cannot find a home and therefore has not gone to school.

the mother explains also that she knew her daughter was staying at her mothers friends house and not attending school

the 17yr old is stopped by the cops one night and they confront the mother about the daughter who was posessing stolen property and thats when they find out she wasnt with her mother.

the mother lives in nevada and was stopped in california

the mothers friend was also not ok with taking care of her friends daughter and encouraged the mom to take her back and find their own place but the mother didnt take any responsibility over her own daughter..the mothers friend only let the teen stay bcause her mother was unstable and didnt have a place for her daughter

Adult websites make you agree to all these terms before you use them. I know it is against the law for underage kids to use them, but do they actually ever catch people or arrest underage kids?

why cant I have over 6 pets in my own home?
Why cant I park my car in my grass if theres no room in the driveway?
Why am I told how fast I can drive?
Why cant I buy beer on Sunday?
Why does every home owner in this town have to own a gun?
Why cant people under 18 be out after 11 pm?
I could go on!
What do you think about ou legal system and all these crazy laws? I dont kno why they say America is a free country when there are so many laws out there that violate American citizen's privacy and so many that have no purpose. Like owning more then 6 pets in my own home. They took my neighbors house cats away!

She has gone as far as to tell the kids that these are for the Judge, I consider this harrasment, stalking, and invasion of privacy. can anyone tell me if this is right or not

I work alongside my husband sometimes, and he's hardly out of my sight. I have no reason not to trust him. But for a month or so, someone has been calling my new(of Aug 06) cell #. A girl starts off "can I speak to your husband? this is his gf", and then a guy comes in and might say the B word out loud. The girl also tells me he is cheating on me. I've asked his friends and co workers, and family and they act like I'm nuts. He also acts like he's not bothered by it or scared of anything. I'm careful not to give out my # but my ex bf who is in a frat knows it. They called anonymously (as they do) again tonight and he answered and they hung up. My ex has been known to email me for stupid crap and my friend and I used to prank call him to be stupid.. back in the day. Could it be him and his sorrority friends? Other than him no one but family know my #.

In multiple places my lease says specifically that my apartment has "NO SMOKING" allowed. The landlord told me that the whole building is, as well. My neighbor has been smoking pot and cigarettes in her apt. I have reported this to the landlord on many occasions. He said he told her to stop, but has never "caught her in the act." Even the maintenance man said it smells in the building.
I chose this particular apartment because it was non-smoking and has new carpet, so it doesn't smell like smoke. I also have really bad allergies, and have been sick twice since living here for only 2.5 months.

Is he violating our lease agreement by allowing them to continue to smoke?
