I work alongside my husband sometimes, and he's hardly out of my sight. I have no reason not to trust him. But for a month or so, someone has been calling my new(of Aug 06) cell #. A girl starts off "can I speak to your husband? this is his gf", and then a guy comes in and might say the B word out loud. The girl also tells me he is cheating on me. I've asked his friends and co workers, and family and they act like I'm nuts. He also acts like he's not bothered by it or scared of anything. I'm careful not to give out my # but my ex bf who is in a frat knows it. They called anonymously (as they do) again tonight and he answered and they hung up. My ex has been known to email me for stupid crap and my friend and I used to prank call him to be stupid.. back in the day. Could it be him and his sorrority friends? Other than him no one but family know my #.

Im not sure if it is covered by the laws on unsolicited calls. But let me guess since you said it I have the same feeling its your ex BF, loosers cant actually accept failure and the fact that they are born loosers. Well you can block the number or perhaps call your service provider to track the location it might cause something but I think it is worthy.

Or you could disregard the fact that there are poeple like them and try to live your life. Perhaps loose your number get new one. But if it seems that your husband knows something about it well lets spy on him. I mean you keep on asking someone or spy on him.

By the way relax he might not be cheating afterall.

Lots of times if you make a complaint to POLICE about your prank calls, you might be able to get your numer changed for free. But they usually only do that when the pranks are threatening or harrassing. Try it. If you can't get your number changed for free, then just pay the @*#! money and be done with this crap. Keep an eye on your husband, and be very careful of who gets this number. Never say it out loud in public while you are on your phone. If you change the number and you STILL get pranks, then your hubby may be messing around. Maybe not. Girls will play phone games to start trouble.

A trick I learned many years ago might help.

When the call comes again, immediately and quickly tap the phone disconnect button twice.

Then say, "Operator, this is the phone call I wanted recording for the Police."

Another trick you could try would produce agonizing pain to the caller.

You know those cans of compressed air with the attachment at the end?

(These are usually seen at sporting events to make a lot of ear-piercing noise)

Place the nozzle next to the mouthpiece and squeeze-off a round of ear-piercing, painful noise.

Usually, that will end the conversation.

I've had prank calls before. Ok, first thing you need to do is call your cell phone company and find out who has been calling you. They will tell you to write down the day and time you get these calls and they can tell you exactly where the call is coming from. Then, I would use the Yahoo white pages to look up the number and find out where it is coming from.

Change your phone number - explain to the phone company why. You may have someone's old number that hasn't been out of circulation long enough and you are getting their calls.
