Trust me unless they were total idiots if they were monitoring you, I doubt you would ever see them they are probably watching someone else.

If they're coming and going, and using hand-held Personal Communicators - That's a new cheap Walkie-Talkie you can get at Radio Shack or elsewhere - Then it's probably a Crack House, and it would do you much good to:
- Barricade your property against theft, because the druggies always turn to property crime, anywhere they can get it
- Get a gun, a Florida Concealed Carry Permit, take a course in using it and how to defend yourself legally, and protect your family.
- QUIETLY tell the cops, like with an anonymous Crime Stoppers call from a pay phone - Don't use your own phone, CallerID. Half the time they're paid off, and you might find yourself beaten by them, instead. It happened to me.
- Expect nothing to happen for a long time. What you might endure is long periods of quiet, as cops watch, then parties as the cops lay off, then violence or whatever, and the cops watch again... In the meantime, Cover Your Own ****
They ARE watching you to see if you are watching them, see? So don't give yourself away. A simply shotgun with birdshot is the best home defense, by the way, and since you must chamber it and that makes a loud noise, that can scare away someone coming in your window. But it is hard for a child to do, yet keep such out of the hands of them.
They use the hand-held radios to communicate with other druggies in the area, and they report on cops or busts nearby, as well as to send in customers. You can buy these little radios, yourself, and they have a scanner mode. Even if they use the privacy setting, you can listen in TO THEM, and I would, just as self-protection (Quietly)
Florida has a Castle Defense, if I'm not mistaken - Check it out to be sure. But if someone comes blasting into your house, you have the full right to blow them away - But check with your local cops or lawyer, or Concealed Carry Group, first, to be sure. I'm not a lawyer.
Ah, and beware: It sounds like a Crack House, that is, Methanphetamine. If they have a factory there, then it can become a toxic waste dump, and they're known to blow up to kingdom Come, too. Also, Meth Heads are extremely dangerous, paranoid, and aggressive people. Avoid eye contact with them, but... You surely have got a problem you'd better do something about, before it corrupts the entire neighborhood - And your home.
Good Luck

The only thing I would suggest is to do a search on THEM. Get the street address and do an Internet search on the owner. Or you can contact the police and state your concerns. Monitor them and maybe record some of what you are hearing, if you can, so you can have what they're saying on record. I don't know if that's legal, but it's an idea. The point is to know who these people are. And of course they may be dealing drugs and not really paying any attention to you.

This is a typical behavior of those who peddle drugs. I would report it all as suspicious activity to the police and let them deal with it. You may have certain privacy rights in your state. This may lead to a more proactive response from the police department. Do NOT let their actions prevent you from doing what you normally do, but do not go out of your way to nose into their business. You've seen something suspicious, now you hear them speaking about what appears to be their neighbors, you have reason to be concerned. I would actually go to the police station, to be honest. If they are selling drugs, I would consider them dangerous - very much so.

Dude they are most likely drug dealers. WE have alot in Casa Grande. The walky talkies are cheaper and safer. People need there fix all hours of the day. The dealers need money and probably dont have a legit job. thats just my oppinion.

Hey! Aren't you the same lady who needs a job? Go accross the alley and tell Scarface you'd be willing to monitor the back side of his house for a small cut of the action. Bingo bango...problem solved!
(you might also consider trying to sell him a copy of your hurt bird book ;) )

They might be dealin, as some people mentioned, and in that case theyre nothing to worry about from your point of view. What do you specifically mean by "from their conversation, they would seem to be monitoring my house"?

Can you see them from your window or can you peek at night??? If not, dont be paranoid and relax. If yes try to ask a local police and inform them your concern.

I would go to your local police department and report this suspicious behavior. Perhaps they will do more drive by's in your neighborhood.
Good luck!
