So in fact if we grant amnesty to 30 million it will actuall be like 150 million. Cause you gotta count mommy, daddy, sons daughters sisters and brothers who are now all eligible for citizenship cause of there new anchor family member?

Amnesty for one means opportunities for his family members to become citizens. It is by operation of law because all of the persons affiliated with him through family relations are now all entitled to become like him.

Generally "No" because the amnesty is a legislative act by the state. You cannot legislate a general statement for it would be vauge. The practice is to state the names of individuals or specific names of people or person that addresses the concern. To grant amnesty you must specifically identify those names and not the general characteristic of people (i.e. race, surnames, color, or gender etc.). There must be a specific identity that could identify an individual or group.

Exception: It may seem to be general in terms but for instance a group of insurgence is granted by amnesty (groups like the al qaeda) all members shall mean a grant of amnesty since the group name is general but it clearly defines its name as specific group.

Amnesty is a bad political move. As usual, Bush is not thinking of all of the towns and cities that are supporting illegals. We don't need any more unskilled labor in the country.

Why should people who broke our laws be allowed a faster track to citizenship? We should not forgive them.

You're using amnesty incorrectly. Amnesty, as defined by webster, is "an official pardon for people who have committed political offenses."
But in reference to your question, eligibility of citizenship is not determined by current relatives being citizens. The only way citizenship is granted to family is if they are born to current citizens. A child can not grant it backwards to his/her parents.

yeah see thats the prob with it... personally i think that we just need to set a perimeter of mine fields along the border w/ new high tech fence and thermal imaging cameras (do we can see deep into the earth) ... deport the illegal ones... unless they have been here for like 20 yrs and that'll be that!
