My company have given me a contract in writing to start a new internal role but have not specified a start date (it says TBC). They said they are aiming for end of Feb. Is this a good thing having it in writing? This is a legal document if I sign it right? My only concern is if they delay it (i.e. cant find someone for my position).

For instance, it would be unethical for a tecaher to sleep with a pupil, and I imagine there's a similar edict with doctors. The MP and the constituent are both single (separated), although the MP is still married. They met when the constituent went to the MP's surgery, so the MP has met the constituent "through the job", but the issue that caused the constituent to go to the surgery has been resolved, so there's no actual conflict of interest there. You'll appreciate that I can't reveal the name of the MP, but apart from that I can supply further details if necessary for your judgement.

I went to a hairdressers yesterday evening to get my hair coloured. After the colour went on, I noticed that it was burning my scalp, so I called the hairdresser back. She asked me to leave it on for 5 more mins and then they washed it off. When I sat back down I noticed that my scalp was all red. I made a little bit of a fuss about it but the salon owner was trying to make out that it wasn't their fault and they tried to charge me full price. I argued and they gave me a small reduction. My scalp is still sore today. Should I have been charged at all? I'd appreciate some advice.

Aren't those involved with this ashamed? What would they say had Russian prosecutors, let us say, decided to stop investigating bribery allegations against its government officials, because it would harm Russia's relationship with Burma, for example?

in texas, it seems like most places that handguns are permitted if you have a license, but if you dont have a license then it usually says on the door, 10 years prison and $10,000 fine. i dont know about the other though. what about having a licensed firearm in a place that it is prohibited? which is worst and what is the penalty for each?
