just go up to the traffic court clerks office and set up a court date to see the judge.
Once you see the judge ask for the payments to be lower and alil bit more time. The traffic court judge isn't harsh like those other judges, since you made a couple payments already he is going to be leniet with you.
Don't hire no lawyer, it would be a waste of money!!!!!

Go to the courthouse where the ticket is held. Pay the ticket. It will cost you just the amount of the ticket remaining (in most states). The hard part is that your license should have been suspended and you will need to go to the place in your state for reinstatement (In Tennessee, the only place is in the Capital) and then you can go get a license with the reinstatement paperwork. The key is to call ahead and find out what paperwork you will need at the DMV and Reinstatement Office (birth Cert., etc...).

I promise you I know. I fixed this 1 year ago and did it all on a Monday. Hard to do in 1 day, but possible if you try.

So many so quick to hire attorneys... geeeze

You have to pay your fine and because it's been so long your license is likely suspended as well. You'll probably have to take a new driving test and get a new license.

I'd call the courts and ask if you can simply pay it or if you 'must' appear in court. If you must appear in court, turn yourself in around 5-6 am so you can see the judge that morning and be released following your seeing the judge and taking care of it later that morning.

If you still have the ticket number, you can contact the court clerk
if you can pay the balance. Make sure to check with you local DMV
to make sure your driving privilege is not suspended before going to the court, there may be fee to be paid to reinstate your driving privilege if it is suspended. The fee may have gone up since you got the ticket.
