when sending a discovery request can i send it first class mail with certificate of mailing or do i have to send it certified mail. certified mail is a lot more and if your sending more than one discovery request and certificate of mailing is cheaper and almost sounds the same.

you can send it any way you like but if you want guaranteed delivery send it certified

But could not the recipient just say they didn't get the letter? With certified mail you get a receipt saying they got it. It may be a penny saved but what is the possible amount lost?
I'd say bit the bullet and spend the extra bucks.

When sending important mail I would always go with the safest class of mail, in this case certfied seems the best, but I am not an expert on this.. just my opinion..
