Yes the Republicans are now blaming the American people for not backing their idiotic plans in Iraq. I know it is hard to believe and I am sure it is the democrats fault but yes the Republicans are out of everybody else and now they blame the American people.

Bush is just pointing the finger at everyone that he can find to blame for HIS mistakes. Bush has a very high turn over rate in his office.

Well, I think that I may be able to helpe you with that. I was raised by Republicans, and I do believe in some of their philosophies, on the other hand I aggree with some of the Democrat ideology. I guess you can say that I am a very liberal (not moderate, liberal) Republican. So I understand where you are coming from because I have several vantage points that allow me to understand both sides. So here goes:
When I talk about Republicans I'm not talking about those holding elected office, and our policy makers-because all politicians are liars in every party. On this matter, I do agree. I've read several books about Saddam, and so I know about some of the stuff that he did, or had others do, and I'm telling you he is no different than Hitler. His modus operandi was different, but he is equally as evil.
Members of the Republican party such as myself genuinly feel that someone as evil as Saddam needed to be stopped-in the same way that Hitler needed to be stopped. The sanctions were not helping the matter-because Saddam saw to it that the people suffered instead of him. He was depriving them of their food rations. In other words he was still living like a king, and everyone was starving, and could barely survive. They were suffering, and he was the one who needed to be suffering not his victims that he terrorized. His sick sons were just as bad, and they definitely needed to die.

Personally, I could care less if he had weapons of mass destruction. We know that he used serin on his own people, and the Iranians-that in itsef is enough for me. Maybe he wasn't a threat to us, but he was a threat to his own people, and that whole region. He wasn't very compliant with the UN inspectors, and he had been so brazen as to invade the neighboring airspace after being told specifically that he cannot. He was a big fat jerk who deserves to be hanged.
So...that is our perspective. Well its mine at least, and I know many other who feel the same way.

Is this a serious question? Specifically what crimes have those mean spirited wascally wabbit republicans committed in Iraq? Are they any relation to the lying under oath the largest tax increase in us history and the vince foster coverup that the last DEMOCRAT committed in office? Are they bigger or smaller in nature and henoius intent? And by the way what wouldve been the bigger crime?...intervening in Iraq or not doing anything and allowing Saddam to gas his own Kurdish people to death.
Where do liberals come up with this stuff?

You are so wrong and mixed up I don't think you even know what you asked. Republicans are no more evil than democrats. Maybe less evil than democrats.

Republicans should help those who are caught committing crimes in Iraq. They should protect their rights even when they are wrong. Just give the appropriate penalty.
