I am a busy orthopaedic surgeon and appearing in court for motor accidental tribunal take lots of time without getting paid adeqately . No one knows what are the laws governing such cases .

It is not that I don not want to appear as an expert witness but you are hauled and summoned to court for frivilous reasons.For example if you have done a revision surgery and bears no relation what so ever with the case i.e has virtually no evidentary value then what to do. You are summoned to court for an OPD slip which again has no evidetiary value . You are a practitioner and and the sole work horse how can you leave work and go to court 30 days a month and the court pays you a pittance and you can't even protest . Otherwise you are threatened that you will be convicted and hauled up for contempt of court . There are few judges who are so high headed that they want to hurt your ego and challenge you that you submit or else attitude . Do we have some thing or some mechanism with which you can atleast protest or put your point of view forward to make life easlier for person like me.
