clue: people from corrupt countries govern by corrupt leaders often die of diseases, lack of access to Medicare, education, force illegal migration and large number of people die from these countries and yet none of these leaders has ever gone to Hague for crime against humanity. How does United Nation classify mass ? Does crime against humanity only perpetuated in war alone? Pls. discuss

I got into a hit and run accident 5 weeks ago. I didnt see the van but it hit me and my baby one the side and threw me into 2 other cars. One in which was a cadillac escalade. Anyways to make a long story short my car was totaled and the baby was okay in the end. As for myself i suffered a dislocated hip, back pain and some other minor injuries. So anyways there were witnesses that saw the accident and knew the guy. It just so happen it was a company vehicle and the detectives caught up with him later. They called me and gave me his name and company phone number. Now my problem is my lawyer sent him a letter requesting his insurance company, but the owner refuses. My lawyer told me if he doesnt get his insurance company in 10 days then they will drop my case. Also i cant file it on my insurance because it had lapsed 2 days before the accident. (i know thats bad) but im still a victim in this accident. So does anyone know how i can find out his insurance company. My lawyers are lazy.

If you found out that:

2 years and 7 months prior to the purchase of your 100+ year old home, the previous owners had video taped the entire sewer system and subsequently removed a section of sewer pipe underneath their sidewalk. You then found that the sewer cleanout in the basement had extensive wear from repeatedly being snaked. Finally, you remember all of their belongings being placed on crates in the basement when you viewed the home...

After having repeated sewer backup problems yourself and finding that a much bigger and more expensive problem exists than just replacing a section of sewer pipe (ie the pipes in the back yard are collapsing). Would you believe the previous owners when they said that they totaly forgot about ever having had a problem when filling out and signing the property disclosure form? And that after their repair they never had another problem? And after viewing the video tape of their sewer line they said"it was a funny tape, so they threw it away."

I have successfully pinned responsibility for fraud on a car dealership in my area (Sask, Canada) and now they want to discuss the matter. They want to record the meeting and I am very leary about it....I would prefer a court recorder but no other format. I believe they are trying to use this next meeting against me in a future court dealing (discovery). I am not a lawyer but need advice as my income is very tight (4 little boys under age 5)! yesterday courts extended this man prison time from 6yrs to 8yrs before he can apply for parole ,do you think this is justice enough and the girls sentance remained the same ..It made me feel sick when i heard ..why dosnt a life sentence mean a life sentence ..why cant we bring back the death penalty for these sick ba***ds...

I think I would be more liberal and democrat if only I could elect a pro-life canidate..
I know this is a very touchy subject but it is one that I feel to strongly about to stay quiet. Please please read..

It is not just for religious reasons that I am against it, but also for ethical reasons:

a.)While women indeed have rights to control her body, that right has limits (like all rights).
b.)Biologically, the fetus is not part of her body.

a.)No child should ever feel unwanted.
b.)In my country (USA) thousands of married couples would love to adopt a new-born infant.

a.)There should be opposition to the conditions that lead to abortion, not to the baby.
b.)Discrimination to women in the work force, poverty, lack of adequate health care and child care.

*In order to take a stand against abortion, we must take a stand against the conditions that lead into it.

However, do you remember a time you wanted to stand up for the voiceless? Like the poor, or discriminated people. Well who is more voiceless than a fetus?

I am definately pro-life. I might not of been here today if my mom had an abortion, and beautiful people like Bono or Martin Luther King Jr. could have been aborted. When a fetus is terminated, (as hard as it is to realize, it is very sad) we risk someone who could of made a beautiful impact in this world, and someone who could help lead this world more into one of peace and tolerance.

Today someone wrongly informed the police that I was going to commit suicide. Strange yes, and also very very embarassing. Unfortunately w/o warning two police officers came to my house to check everything out. They realized I was fine and then left. I know that every time something like this happens there is a report filed no matter what. Unfortunetly I am very recognizable in my community and I am told this record will become availible to the public for a fee on monday. I am extrememly humilitated to find that someone is planning on purchasing this police report first thing on monday. I am very upset since this incident was all cleared up otherwise. Is there any legal way I can make this information confidential to protect my reputation? I am sick to think someone would do this to me in the first place, and knowing people can purchase this, even for there own viewing is really troubling me. Please help if you have an answer. I live in WI if this helps with any law info. Thanks

Three people involved in a situation, 2 people engage in a conversation and one of the 2 voice records the conversation in ref to a third person that was not there. The third person gets the recording and makes threats to take it to court, in ref to the second person involved in the converstion making remarks about the third person that was not there, the second person in the conversation did not know they were being recorded. Can/Will the recording stand up in court?

If stuff as vulgar and crass as uncensored Bad Santa can be shown in the middle of the daytime on cable TV, and if pornography is allowed be advertised on cable, then the FCC either no longer exists or is perpetually drunk off their asses.
