I TOTALLY agree! How do ppl think that this should be allowed???? Murder is outlawed... This is MURDER! Isn't it? I mean they ain't killin' them they're murdering them BIG difference! Killing: is ok cuz they did somethin wrong; killing is justice Murdering: is bad cuz it's ending an innocent life!

I don't care if the mom can't take care of it! Hmm... Have they ever heard the word adoption?

I think abortion is a dificult choice that needs to be made by the people it is affecting, not just the mother. I think that a 14 or 15 year old who gets pregnant should not be able to decide whether the baby is kept or not it and the decision should be up to the people who are going to have to take care of that baby until the teenager is old enough to move out on her own. If a women doesn't want a baby then why make her keep it? So she ignores it, mistreats it, and subjects it to a less than appropriate life? Babies who are born to an unsuitable mother will end up being a waste of air and services. I don't think that enough is done to make adoption a realistic alternative to abortion. I am neither for nor against abortion because I am a man and I have no idea what it feels like to carry a living human being inside of me, not even for a second so honestly I should have no say in the matter, but just like everyone else in the world I have an opinion.

I personally would never have an abortion, but I am 100% pro-choice. Nobody, the government included, has the right to tell me or anyone else what they can do with their own body. Where do you draw the line? Unused embryos are destroyed from fertility treatments all the time and the religious right has no problem with that. It's extremely hypocritical. In the case of rape, incest, or if the pregnancy could jeopardize the mother's health, it would be inhumane to make abortion a crime. The Conservative stance on this issue simply makes no sense. They don't want to give teenagers access to condoms at school, they preach abstinence. Not very realistic in today's world. So no birth control, no abortions. These are usually the people whose daughters are terrified to tell their tight *** parents that they are pregnant so they either kill the baby after it is born or throw it in a dumpster. Would an abortion not be a more humane choice? I don't think it should be used as birth control as some women seem to do, but to criminalize it is archaic and counterproductive.

Are you taking an opinion poll? Or are you trying to rally support to get a law passed that imposes your particular opinion against everyone else, whether they agree with you or not.

The question of whether an embryo (pre-viability) is a human being or not is primarily a religious/moral question, not a medical one. So, basically, you want to impose your personal beliefs on everyone else.

Whether I personally support abortion or not is irrelevant. I don't think the government should be legislating morality or religion. And I don't think the government should be in the business of deciding who can and who cannot have children. So I support personal choice, because the alternative is government control. And that's never a good idea when it comes to issues like this.

Okay, for myself, I'm against it. I kow this because I did go through an "unwanted".. unplanned pregnancy when I was young. I couldn't go through with an abortion so ended up giving my baby for adoption. THAT was the worst thing I've EVER done and the biggest regret of my life. I think of her every day and wish I could see her.. if only once! She is 23 now.
For others: I do not feel I have the right (and neither does the govt) to say any woman cannot have an abortion. Women who do go this route are in dire straits and we cannot know their reasons for going through with it.. Personally, I do know it's one of the most difficult, life-changing decisions anyone can make. And, nobody needs to go through one of those "back-alley" abortions.. death or infertility following this heartfelt deciion would just be the icing on the cake of horror!

i dont know because in some cases i think it is necessary like if a teenage girl gets raped and then gets pregnant and has a risk of dying from giving birth but if the woman is capable of having the baby without any problems to themselves and dont want it they should just give the baby up for adoption instead of killing it. Also i dont think it should be used as birth control like if a girl wants to be a tramp and go sleep with a bunch of guys and just thinks like ah if i get pregnant i could always just go and get an abortion. So basically the only case i think it is necessary is if the woman got raped and is too young to deliver.

What do you want? Do you want the right to be able to tell a woman what she can or cannot do concerning her own body and health? Do you then want a law where the "moral" majority get to tell you what you can and can't do concerning your health and body? Why not, Right? If life isn't fitting in our perfect picture of how it should be, lets throw another useless & harmful law at it. If your neighbor isn't living how you think he should, lets pass another useless & harmful law and bend that neighbor to your will. Freedom, right? Freedom to impose your will upon everyone else is what you truely want! Thank you, it's because of self-rightous a$$holes like you that our country and individual freedoms are being taken away so that you can sleep better at night cause you feel so fu@king guilty that you didn't save the world and show everyone the proper way to live today. Well here is my opinion, GO FU@K YOURSELF! Want to be a true American...MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!

I myself am against it for myself but I also don`t want dumpster babies popping up like in the 60s. I just can`t tell a woman or man what to do with their body. I also think that people that bring religion into it should also be against fertility methods because it is Gods will for you not to have a baby. I would rather have trials for people that lie us into wars we don`t absolutely have to wage.

Don't want a abortion then don't have one.
Why to people want the government to run their lives?
When the day comes that there is FORCED abortions then I will fight with my life against that. Until then I trust that everyone can run their own life without my or governments intrusion.

I am pro-choice. I believe a woman should have the right to decide whether or not to continue with the pregnancy (only up to a certain stage).
I don't believe in abortion being used as a contraceptive method (like instead of the pill or condom).
