I don't know what the legal answer is, but I know that if you have "special" brownies in Amsterdam, and come back to the USA and have a "special" test, (say, as part of a job application or something) then there will certianly be reprocussions.

Remember freedom of action doesn't mean freedom from consequences.

No not unless you do it here. If you however have the brownies in Amsterdam come back here and are drug tested you could lose your job. I had special brownies before and they were good.

Yes, it's legal to DO it THERE.. nobody is going to give you any sort of pee test upon your arrival back in the U.S., after all. Just do yourself a BIG favor and do NOT try to bring anything back with you, ok? Even if it's not special brownies, it will give the security folks reason to detain and search you (full-body/cavity) and anything you have with you!

You can't be charged with possessing/using marijuana in the US if you weren't in the US.

Although it may have an effect on future job opporitunities....which isn't really a legal issue.

So to answer your question..

No, there won't be any direct legal reprocussions.

Only if you bring the special brownies back or have drug screening at your job. Otherwise "When in Rome do as the Romans do"

I think that whatever you do in another country while you are there cannot be held against you in the US unless it violates some type of international laws.

But why would you want to deteriorate your body by using such harmful substances?

by special brownies I am sure you mean "especially chocolatey" and I don't think chocolate is illegal. While you are there do some drugs.

You cannot be prosecuted in the U.S. for taking part in legal activities in a foreign country.

Just don't bring them back.
